  2. My normal connection for Cowboys v. Skins tickets (at Fed-Ex field) fell through and I've gone every year for a while. If anyone has access to tickets they are willing to sell, please PM me. Thanks, and come visit at Skydive Orange, Virginia some time. Blue skies. -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."
  3. The max suspended weight on the Vector reserves is 500 lbs so if you find a tandem master light enough, they could take him. My tandem exit weight is 207 and the heaviest student I have taken was exactly 293 (with harnass, altimeter, hat, and all). We do charge extra, though, because if the wear and tear on the gear and TM. -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."

  8. I just put in my two weeks at my job so I have even less incentive than I ever have to actually work. So, help me kill some time........ name the movie with the following quote: (and then throw out some of your quotes) "Son, you got a panty on your head." -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."
  9. I have to disagree with phoenix on wing loading recommendations. First off: Wing loading is not universal across the board. A jumper with an exit weight of 260 with a 1:1 loading is NOT the same as a jumper who weighs 150 with the same wing loading. Anything 150' or smaller is considered a high performance parachute and should be treated as such. I have no idea what your exit weight is but even IF it's on the higher end, 1.1-1.3 is a VERY aggressive wing loading for a lower-time jumper. I think something that small would be a bad idea. When in doubt, choose the larger canopy and your body will thank you in the long run. -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."

  16. Jason and I have been together for quite a while so I would appreciate all of you stopping the slanderous remarks of him being with some "woman". Okay, he's not gay. (And neither am I for that matter). Just stirring the pot.......I sense a Springer show coming on........... -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."
  17. I'm a tad biased as I learned to jump at Orange back in 1993 and have jumped there ever since. I've done quite a bit of travelling and I have jumped many places but I still think Orange is one of the busiest and friendliest DZ's on the East coast. We mostly jump hard Wednesday and Friday afternoons and all day on Saturday and Sunday. We do jump year round. We do have a full time Cesna and Super Otter pilot so call the hangar at (540) 672-5054 if you want to see if we're jumping any other times. You're more than welcome to camp out as we have all the facilities you need. It looks like you're still working on getting your license so call (877) DIVE-SKY and let Ned know you're coming out and we'll get you up. I hope to see you there. -Lambert- "It's better to be looked over than overlooked."
  18. Hey there from the always-a-good-time but lately oh-so-rainy dropzone of Skydive Orange, Va. (Perhaps you've heard of us)
