I know this has probably been brought up a million times but can someone with a little sense tell me the benefits of owning an iMac over a PC? I'm tired of putting up with the mess on this computer of mine and although I know it's a bit higher priced, is an iMac worth the money to keep spam/viruses, etc under control? Maybe I didn't make myself clear...this is gonna' be a road trip ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES[/RED][/B]. We're not just limiting ourselves to just the east coast. This trip is gonna' be all over the map. We got the idea a few months ago and were gonna' just try to travel route 66 from Chicago to California but it's now branched out to include ANYWHERE THERE MIGHT BE A GHOST. Ya'll keep the locations coming in. I'm marking the places on a map of the U.S. and we're gonna make it one hell of a road trip. Hey dudes and dudettes, My two best friends and I are planning a tour of as many haunted places we can find in America. We have a couple of months yet to track it all out but need some input. I have a map of the U.S. laid out and am marking all the spots I can find where a haunted place stands but don't have very many. Where is your favorite place? It doesn't matter where it is as long as it can be reached by vehicle or at least can be reached with a minimum amount of walking. We are leaving from Atlanta and plan to head up the east coast. From there, there is no telling where we're gonna' wind up. Ya'll give me a hand with this, ya' hear? I wanna' scare the crap out of my two friends, lol. We don't care how long it takes to do the U.S. Hell, we got nothing better to do and if it takes a couple of months, so be it. And remember, the scarier it is, the better. At 8:30 p.m. tonight a friend lost her life. Florence lived three houses from me. She had been diagnosed with cancer four years ago and although she lived in pain from it, I never heard her once complain. Her husband, Kenny, waited to call the funeral home so her friends could come by and say "good-bye" to her and he asked for us all to help him celebrate her life, not to morn her passing. There will be a closed casket funeral at our little country church in a few days. I think this was pretty hard on Kenny but at the same time, it (in my mind and heart) showed courage and strength on his part to allow us to have an opportunity to say good-bye to a wonderful lady without the pressure of being in a public forum; i.e. funeral home. I once scored 542 on a test for tryglycerides. Then a few months ago I wound up in the VA hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. I dropped from 190 lbs to 138 in 14 days. When we checked my tryglyceride levels again it was 121. I don't suggest having part of your insides taken out like I had to have done or the drastic loss in weight but it seems to have worked for me.
