  1. Hello, I'd like to suggest "The Skydivin' Place" in Littlestown, PA. Mapquest says we are about 1 hr. 15 mins from the Rockville area - just over the Maryland boarder. We are a small safety minded one Cessna DZ that has a strong group of regular jumpers who are mostly into RW. We have a 'one big family' atmosphere and everyone gets to jump - new jumpers, old timers and skydivers in between. Come hang out on cloudy days - we have a hot tub, basketball, volleyball, motorcycles, fencing, skeet shooting, juggling, a band, movies, BBQ grill, trampoline, creepers, showers, and anything else that you can think of to keep board skydivers busy. I've been jumping with this group for 8 years and have always had fun and continue to learn new things. If you visit on the weekend ask for 'Tom' and I'll be glad to show you around and make some jumps with you. Good luck finding a new DZ home! (Oh, I don't technically work there. I'm just a happy customer and one of the usual gang of idiots.) Check out: www.skydivepa-md.com
  2. I just thought of a question: Does anyone know what can happen to the DZ, the DZO, or the jumpers if a private pilot is found in violation? Who can the FAA fine for this? Is it only the pilot that is at risk? Any history? I am curious to see if I need to ask pilots to see their commerical license!
  3. I only get out to Maytown once in a while, but I love the place. The people have always been very, very nice to me. Super 2 Cessna DZ. Dave DeWolf is my hero.
