  3. On the 7th-9th August 2004, the Artistic Nationals return to Target Skysports, Hibaldstow in North Lincolnshire. Competitors in Freefly, Freestyle and Skysurf will be competing to be the 2004 British Champions! The Nationals are an 'open' event so other nationalities are encouraged to enter. For more information and also the rules, check out [url] http://www.bpa.org.uk If you can make it, then why not come along and take part! If you don't have a team then there will be other people willing to put together a scratch team. 4. Good idea, a survey just for that would cost alot of money, but there is a survey due to run again soon, i'll propose that the question is asked. Any other ideas? Keep them coming!! 6. If you ask it, it may happen! I'm the BPA Artistics Discipline Rep and the Freefly, Freestyle and Skysurf Competitons are my responsibility, this year due to comments from people last year, i completely re-wrote the rules making it clearer and easier, also i had quite a few people comment that the Nationals always clashed with the Hercules Boogie and that people would rather be there, so this year i fought long and hard (And believe me it was hard) to have the Nationals moved back by one week. So hopefully more teams will enter this year. My plan is that if enough teams enter, then next year, providing i am re-elected, i can propose that we have Artistic Regional competitions again. The reason they were stopped was because not enough teams were entering and it was costing far too much money. With regards to the money side of things, unless we have more teams entering and more interest is generated, no-one will want to give any money. If this year is a success, i can send a promotional package to various companies offering them the chance to sponsor the nationals, maybe then we can get some prize money involved. On the other hand, if you would like to run your own competition, then be my guest, speak to your CCI and arrange something at your own DZ If you want to talk to me about anything, then please e-mail me or call the BPA Office and get my number, Nigel Holland -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Sponored by NZ Aerosports, CYPRES 2, Tonfly & L&B Team Dirty Sanchez #232
  7. Hello!!! Hey Bobby, e-mail me - [email protected] As for that jump where we hung off the Skyvan waiting for the girls, well if FlatFlyers stopped wearing Freefly jumpsuits, it would've been easier for us to tell, surely you can have half a Swooo number? All can someone shed some light on who's "Tall and Mischievous" & "Small, Dark and Handsome" !? 8. I've just got back from 2 weeks at Crosskeys, i went out there because John Eddows, one of the big cheifs, sent Stuey, Spotty and Toast to the BPA AGM in January '01. I travelled over 3,000miles to jump a steerman bi-plane, which, might i add was soooooo cool!! but also to visit those guys at the MonkeyClaw freefly school (http://www.monkeyclaw.com) I travelled to Crosskeys all by myself, and i think within 2 days, i knew everyone there!! I had no problems finding anyone to jump with, and i received so much good advice!! Okay, so i was let down a little bit, only because Stuey told me it would be good weather.... On arrival i found that the weather back home in England was 10 times better! I highly recommend this dropzone to everyone, the Frankenotter is cool (even though it scraped half the skin off my foot!, didn't hurt though) And just a quick word of advice, Ignore the Monkeyclaw guys when they try to talk you into a Voodoo Container, they won't admit it but they all really liked my brand new Javelin Odyssey! Quick hello to: Jacko, Mark, Jason, John, Stuey, Tim, Bert, Heath, Adam, Kelly, Toast, John, Stacy (x2), Jori, Melody, Shani, Betty, Alan, Mary, Dale, Skeff, Geoff, Boxman, Flav, Fric, Hutchco, Mike,Georgie and anyone else i forgot (not on purpose!)
