  1. You're on Cat It was great to see you too. As well as all the others SDV that I hadn't seen for soo long. I'll come more often since I just realized this weekend how much I've missed you all. The dog is doing fine. They released him yesterday noonish and I drove him home right away. He has six wounds with stiches and three drains on his belly. But none are deep wounds fortunately. He is now in good mood eats and drinks and even barks at the mailman. I took him to the vet this morning for a follow up and he said that every thing is going very well because the Raleigh vets did an excellent job. I would like to express my gratitude to Brad, Meaton, Danny and Dawn for helping fighting the pit bull. And to Carolyn for taking charge at three AM and driving us to Raleigh in the middle of the night. I love you all

  10. Gives something to "chew", doesn't it Bob? Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  11. Nothing wrong with leaving. Do whatever you are comfortable with. If you feel it's time to take a break, then do it. The sky will always be here for whenever you are ready to come back. I started jumping in 1989. I couldn't stay current enough, so in 1993 I put my righ in the closet. That short break lasted 10 years, I came back in 2003. Did I miss skydiving? Sometimes I did, most of the time I did not. I spent those 10 years in settling down, dedicating my time to the woman I loved (and still do) and raising our child. Im my case I did what was right for me and it worked out very well. Nowadays, I enjoy jumping way much more than back then. Whether you decide to continue or take a break, follow your heart without regrets.

  20. ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!! Closets are, indeed, a very damaging environment for long term storage of jump suits. In my case, either it really shrinked or I got 25 lbs more in 10 years. Obviously it's the former Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  21. Hihihi, yuo haven't seen my almost new 11 years old jumsuit Geez!!! They were using poor quality fabrics back then. Mine shrank about 5 sizez Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  22. I still jump my BT-60 on occasion, it is a sweet canopy that can be forgiving at light WL and flown conservatively. From all the posts above, your friend seems to be in good hands and will enjoy the ride. Last but not the least, it is always good to hear that people care about their friends, like you do. Be safe & be well. JM Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  23. Welcome back, I did the same for 10 years, came back last year. I can tell you that it really is sweet to be back. Enjoy and be safe
  24. Hey Mike, Give your kids a hug for me will you? Get well soon , don't do anything stupid like jumping while you still have the flu. Hope to see you soon, we have a jump to do together . Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
