  1. I have a 120G (4x2x2) SW reef, mix of Indo-Pacific & South Pacific corals, fishes and shrimps. Used to have at the same time: - 75 G planted with 2 angelfishes (p. scalare) a few cardinals, 1 golden nugget pleco, and 3 corys (palaetues). - 29 G with mollies, planted. - 10 G guppies, planted Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  2. Don't forget the reserve. All the containers, regardless of manufacturers, are built for a specific range of mains and reserves. Again contact the manufactures you are interested in and talk to your instructors and riggers. There's a bunch of very knowledgeable people at your home DZ. Also I would listen to what Lisa (Skybytch)advises. After all, she is (still is?) a very reputable skydiving gear retailer. JM (edited for spelling) Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  3. Hey Beezy! Given that you've tested the product. How satisfied are you with the results? JM Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  4. Indeed. Unfortunately she is not yet listed in the options offered by Samsung . Nevertheless, I have put my name to be first in the list to test the beta version as soon as she is launched. Samsung promises she'll be plug and play Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  5. There are a bunch of dropzones in Argentina, (since you mention Buenos Aires). Although I have never jumped over there, you could send a PM (private message) to bubaskydiver. Ariel jumps in Argentina and is a great guy. He will give you a lot of good info. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  6. 200+, Nitron 150 @1.2 lb/sqf, I don't do hook turns or swoops, no HP landings. Never injured. Normal approaches. If I am in the mood for HP stuff, or just pushing my personal limits, then I do a hop and pop at 5 or 7 K, sometimes higher. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  7. I agree with Matt/panzwami, do a reply to that e-mail. Usually, if it is a spam/bogus e-mail it will most certainly bounce back to you as "undeliverable" or something like that. If it is a valid e-mail address then the sender can identify him/herself then you will know. I would not open it as it is. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  8. There are many self teaching programs. Although they do require serious dedication and commitment. Now, according to your profile, you jump at Orange right? So get any of the tapes or CDs programs, and start the basics. Then talk with Jaime at manifest, her Spanish is very good. There's a bunch of us in the Metro DC area that speak very good Spanish, including myself. We will be more than happy to engage in conversations in Spanish and walk you though. PM me if you are interested
  9. Sell it to AggieDave Nice job, have fun Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,

  11. I have one pair from Tony Suits and another form EG Sky Technologies Both are very well manufactured, and the quality is excellent. If I were to order another one, it would be from EG Sky Technologies, since his prices are cheaper. I also heard good things about other manufacturers, but have not personally purchased from them so far. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  12. Generally speaking, it's a matter of preference. When I am doing solos or FF, I wear an openface (BH Mindwarp). When I do RW or if I am at the base in a hybrid then I wear a full face (Z1). I like them both with no preference on one over the other. Edited to add: Sorry, I cannot provide an answer with regards to contacts Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  13. No worries, no harm done . From time to time we all read too fast and reply accordingly. Happennedt to me several times The guys I was hanging with were great and I owe them beer for many years
  14. Thanks, I know what you mean, I never manage to fall asleep til he decides that he's done with the licking. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  15. I absolutely agree with your point. That's why, as I mentionned in my pervious reply, I am convinced that the dog does not belong to someone from CSS nor someone who was attending the boogie. I rather believe it belongs to someone living in the area. Either the dog escaped or the owner let it loose. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  16. Unfortunately, given the behavior of the pit, it is obvious he is trained to dog fight. We, all the involved, agree on this. I blame the owner for the incident, not the dog. He had a collar but no tags. It also most definitely does not belong to someone who was at CSS for the boogie, nor to any of the locals. I have been visiting CSS several times in the past six months and never seen that dog before. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  17. It was a pit, about a year old give or take a month. Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  18. The dog is mine. It's a little maltese named Feby (9 lbs). Happened around 2:30 am the night of Fri-Sat on the parking lot. He got 6 big wounds but fortunately not too severe nor deep. After the fight, we drove him to an emergency clinic in Raleigh were he stayed until Sunday noon. I drove him home when released and took him to his regular vet on Monday morning. He is confident that Feby will heal within time, without problem. He's doing well under the circumstances and is in good spirits. We were 5 fighting the pit bull and it took us quite a while to make him loose his grip. Alone I wouldn't been able to handle the pit. One of my friends and I got our hands bitten by the pit bull but nothing severe either. Another of us got her face lightly scratched. Thanks for asking
  19. We will find something special for your jump Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  20. Absolutely!!! I am blessed to be part of such a community
  21. Thanks girl. Don't be sorry it's nobody's fault and certainly not yours. You were there helping and I am so sorry that the pit scratched your cute face. Only the owner is guilty for having trained that dog for fight. Also, to whomever reads these posts, the owner is NOT a skydiver, NOR is he someone who goes to CSS. And yes, the SDV gang rocks! JM Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,
  22. We will do your Hispa jump very soon
