  2. I Found an article about a Wife and a Husband (Rickie and John Wasik) in the belleville IL news democrat from 1967. Rickie went in with a "tangled chute" and John subsequently killed him self 5 weeks later with a note wishing for the same silver casket that his wife was buried in. I"m going to find a way of getting a true copy of the newspaper article and posting it in here.. I just thought it was and intersting tidbit .. Are there any people around from Rockledge or does anyone know Lyle Goodwin who was the " safety officer" I'm interested in finding out what really happened. Thanks KAI There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan
  3. I didnt like it either... i lost a good friend out at perris that went in with nothing out... i didnt ike the sensationalizing by showing the dummy bounce.. But other than that i dug the entire episode.. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

  6. I have XM in my big truck and had Sirius in my Jeep. I'm a huge Opie and Anthony Fan, and a huge Ron and Fez Fan. Never been much on Stern. Siruis has some great music channels, But XM's content is far better. XM has MLB, NHL, and college sports. Sirius has NFL and Nascar. In my opinion XM's technology is better than Sirius. Sirius in my Jeep had Signal issues while i never have had a problem with XM. I do think XM is still slightly cheaper than sirius, but i pay for it yearly. 9. 10 Jumps on my pilot 168 and I have to Say WOW!! This has to be the best canopy I have ever flown. The opening's really are very very soft... half the time I dont even feel it open. Control is absolutely awesome... you can turn it on a dime.. turn it wide.. and if you want, you can spiral the hell out of it.. its flies well in deep brakes and in full flight The color coded line attatchments are awesome to make packing easier. But wrestling new ZP is a pain in the ASS!! ;) Landings are awesome and the flare is effin powerful. I have to say that aerdodyne has made one awesome canopy, and made a customer for life. 10. I did a hop and pop from 14,500 ft 2 weeks ago... Pulled right out of the door, and my average speed was 98MPH for the whole skydive. So figure an Exit at 14,500 and a 900 ft snivel puts me under canopy at 13,900. I still dont believe that i could have had an average speed of 98MPH Here's the readings from the log book screen. Exit: 14500 Dep: 13900 FF: 6 AVG 98MPH 12K- 24MPH 9K- 20 MPH 6k- 13MPH 3k 11MPH There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

  24. Here's my theory... The common theme of the show is Surfing. Take that analogy and put it to the show, Its a big wave that you have to ride just to see where it goes. I watch to be entertained, not to try to figure it out, Im sure in time they'll give you more clues, but for now just relax and enjoy the wave.
