On my check-out dive this weekend, the instructor had me give him a gear check, and he purposefully did a couple of things wrong, including misrouting the chest strap. I'm glad he did this. Made me extra-conscious about checking the gear. I've noted my FF time in my log book. I'm using the table provided which of course isn't exact for everyone, and I know that my FF tends to be slower, so I'm probably cheating myself. I bought a jumpsuit on Ebay, and it came today. It was only $100 and totally exceeded my expectations. The thing looks brand new, and the guy even threw in a pair of goggles. The arms need to be brought in which shouldn't be a problem, but what worries me is that it's too long in the torso. When I make a fold-over in the torso, like several inches worth, it's almost perfect, so I'm afraid a waist might have to go in. Would that be terribly dorky? Like Skymama says, fear issues are normal. I did my 19th jump a couple of weeks ago, I should know. But the fear is slowly decreasing. Congrats and Keep it up!
