  1. Here's another good photo of Dan-O I took of him in Rocky Point, Mexico several years back. I really liked this photo and I think he did too.
  2. I can't believe this news...having known Dan since he started skydiving I was so impressed how far he had gone in the sport. I've stopped jumping since I had kids and I was always impressed to hear of the things Dan O was up to...tandem master...making wingsuit jumps...things I never though he'd do when he was just starting out. I'm so sorry for his family and the family of the passenger. Here are a few photos of Dan O from his early days in Arizona. Blue Skies, Dan!
  3. I'm so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. He was an incredible skydiver and always a great person to jump with. I can't believe this... My deepest condolences to Kenny's friends and family. wade whisler
  4. Hey all! I just relocated to the Portland, Oregon area from Arizona and am in need of a rigger for a simple repack. Is there a rigger directory on DropZone.com or can somebody recommend an excellent rigger to me? Thanks, Wade Whisler D-19865
  5. I absolutely agree. I walked away with a little chuck taken out of my finger and that was it. When I landed everybody was asking where my helmet was...sad. And to top it all off the other videographer on the load asked me if I could help him dub down his video. And I gladly did so and then set out on a quest to find the helmet. I can't imagine how anybody could lose a helmet and have the cameras survive.
  6. It's a lot of spinning right up til then end when the cactus starts to come into view. It landed about 1.5 miles (maybe more) away from the landing area. I found it after searching about 20 hours. I can't believe I it at all...
  7. I thought this group might be able to appreciate my loss here. My FTP was ripped off my head a while back during a super hard opening and I lost it all. I've since replaced my setup so I think I can look back and laugh...or at least not cry. Wade Whisler
  8. Yup, figured that out just after I posted. Thanks, though. Doh!
