  1. Looking to get a 7 cell docile canopy to jump into small places in bad conditions. Any suggestions? All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  2. The pasanger harness main lift web is way to loose (biggest contributing factor) for that size pax + bad set up and to much togle imput after finals resluting in minimal lift on landing. i dont think landing a tandem on a pea pit is a good idea unless theres enough wind to do a stand up landing. All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  3. Hey buddy, dont listen to these guys, they know shit, talk to me , i'll sell you a velo, with a training video and packing instructions. Really good deal. These canopy open and land so softly you can get in the air tomorrow. Send cash All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  4. Has it been established that the equipment used was Sigma ? All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  5. It is a very good place for it, and has fuctionality. It to avoid an out off sequence deployment. I'm am rated on Strong , eclipse , mars, sigma and vector. I prefer strongs with set 360. (dz is 4000 agl) I let my pasengers deploy most of the time and the 360's i can do endless tandems all day long with out braking a sweat. There are pros and cons to every rig i've jumped and in the end if you make something idiot proof , the work creates better idiots! All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  6. Hey Micheal, We have all our rain in the summer and June is crisp clean fast air. Your more than welcome to come and compete at nationals , There are no rules that say you cant. The pond will be ready pm me if your thinking of coming. Choa Rob All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  7. FAI has givin us word that we will be host the 2008 canopy piloting world championship. The event will take palce in November at Pretoria Skydive Club ,Wonderboom Airport in the north of Pretoria. The field elevation is around 4100' so should be a record crushing meet. Where looking forward to seeing you all in SA Rob All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  8. [ Ive got a xaos27 94 now and it dives not that deep like the vx97 i had before - but it opens much nicer
  9. Thanks to everyone that posted. It seems to me that you dont realy have more or less of a chance of a mel
  10. I've been flying wingsuites for about 2 years and have proberly 150 flights, most of them on my xaos 27 .Sofar me and my friends have good deployments with at most a linetwist . I'm yet to see or meet or speak to anybody that's had a function. Can anybody share their experience they had? \ All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  11. Nate, you gave us so much for skydiving, you helped me so much and was a huge insparation to me. I will try and give as much back . thank you ! my time at asc was made by you and tj. ahoi bro rob (South africa) All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  12. You will have to contact them, I know precition makes custom sizes but to what spec I dont know. All wings are safe - until their given to pilots
  13. Are you intending on using the tandem cannopy in a sport rig? it sounds like you are a big boy 300 pounds+ ? I would suggest that you stick to what you have until you have more experience and aproach one of the manufactures like precision or pd and have them make you what you need. A tandem cannopy is not a good idea in a sports rig , They take forever to open and you have more stearing lines than on sport cannopies. What system do you jumps and how big is your reserve?
