  1. How did the terminology of calling a canopy a "square" instead of calling it a rectangle which is the true shape. D. Ebert SOS#833
  2. Went 32 years before getting back in the breeze. Did two SL and a hop and pop. They then turn me loose. Plan on during working my way up by doing hop and pops, 5's,10' etc. Dan Ebert SOS #833
  3. Take Deep breaths on the jump run. I started back after a 32 year lay-off. It felt good to get the knees back in the breeze. Dan Ebert C-4848 SOS #833
  4. When I got my C it was called Jumpmaster, that was in 1968. D's were called Expert. This was the old PCA names. Dan Ebert C-4848
  5. Had 140 jumps. After 32 years I am back at it again. Took log book to DZ. I made two SL'S and then a hop and pop. They then turn me loose. Took ground school first to learn about the squares. Cost me $150.00 total. Feels good to get some blue again. Dan Ebert C4848
  6. First one was 28" 7 panel TU Next one was a Lo-Po Then a P.C. #82 the FireBird Now after 32 years of not jumping I am back at and looking for my first square. Dan Ebert C-4848
  7. After 143 Jumps I still have not done a barrel roll. Just how do you do one.
  8. Thinking about getting back into the blue. It has been 25 Years since I have Jump(349 Jumps). Last chute I jump was a ParaCommader. I have no experience with the new style chutes. I am a heavy drop(230 lbs.) Main question is what kind of landing/opening shock can I expect, compare to the P.C. Thanks Dan Ebert C4848
