Ratings and Rigging

  1. Air Adventures of Clewiston is super friendly. Land on the airport and lots of space(outs). Large student area. Just don't land in the burning sugarcane!
  2. Hear, hear .... Excellent suggestion! There may be not much that can be done -- if they force the tower onto the dropzone -- then Deland would be well within rights to tempt the FAA controllers to become licensed skydivers (FREE OF CHARGE). Possibly this would help diplomacy between jump planes and other planes, and the better knowledge would increase safety while keeping loads as frequent as possible. If enough bite the offer, there could be an annual ATC Boogie, with PsychoBob. This tower will most likely be staffed by contract controllers. It would be a conflict of interest for them to accept a gift valued over $20.00. Ditto for FAA controllers. By the way, I've seen contract controllers be real hard asses at small airports.
  3. ***That's not a low profile handle... I thought my reserve handle was cosidered low profile. I guess it's just smaller than normal then.
  4. Here is a picture of my low profile reserve handle. I have to admit, it is a little handle. It seems less likely to be pulled by someone or snaged by accident. Take a look at the picture, as you can see, I can only fit two fingers on it!
  5. I highly recomend a Para-Comander. My buddy uses a para-comander. It needs full throttle for flight and doesn't steer very well but it's a lot of fun! Trust me, you don't need a square chute! Good luck my friend.
  6. Join the club. It took me 4 tries on level 4 also. I had a spin problem. I finally stopped looking all over the place and concentrated on a fixed point. Toe taps also helped. After that, ...magic.

Yea, I think I can trust this rig. What I like is that every thing comes together in one complete package. As soon as I complete my AFF I'll get one. Every thing will be new, and up to date,...no used stuff for me. I dont want any suprises at 120 mph. I guess I will have to be the first to post a review and/or comments.
