I just picked up my first suit from Tony and the service was great. I called several times to check on colors and options and got a courtious response to all my questions. I didn't order a standard suit, I sent in drawings of what I wanted and they even called me back to make sure they were getting it right. Best of all this is the first suit or any piece of custom skydiving gear that was ready on the day they quoted. The suit fits perfect and is exactly what I asked for, I highly recommend Tony suits for anyone looking for a new suit.

I have trouble getting helmets big enough for my giant head, so I'm weary of mailordering a helmet just to find out that it's too small. I talked to Linda Hardesty at Bonehead, she offered alternatives and a guarantee of return if it didn't fit even after baking it. Well I received my helmet in three days, a day earlier than she promised, it fit great and is just as comfortable as she said it would be. I recommend dealing with her directly for anyone that isn't sure what size or type of helmet they need.

My suit is just about a year old now and still in great shape. I'm not easy on my suits and this one has held up great. I had the butt and knees reinforced but it doesn't seem like it was necessary. The other thing I like is that I can put it on without taking my shoes off, the leg zippers go up far enough to go over the shoe. My Michigan suit can't do the same. I shoe gooed the booties and they are holding up great too, I always forget to pull them up when walking off the DZ. My only gripe is that they promised 5 weeks and it took 3 1/2 months. I don't remember the excuse they gave but it was weak. A year later it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but I would think twice about ordering another from them for just that reason alone.

My condolences to Paul's family. I remember Paul as a guy who was a legend in the sport but took time to help new skydivers like me, without a hint of arrogance. He was always there to give hints on how to improve your flying without ever expecting anything in return. He was what is meant by the term "Role model". We should all be a little more like Paul. I'll miss him every time I rig up. Thanks for everything Paul. Rob Cavin
