  1. Is the Herc boogie flock of 27 still the record? I need the info for a workshop I'm doing. madjohn Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  2. Rondo, Good to know you're still out there. Blue skies, brother. madjohn Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  3. Byron has packers (you can hook up with John King, international king of packing, in his own words), a King Air, Tandems ($170) and lots of RW and Freeflyers to jump with. And probably the shortest car ride. But phone first and see how the winds are doing, June is our Windy month. 925 634-7575 mad john Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  4. The Results: Despite later protest on viewing the videos, and seeing team members breaking the doorplane prior to exit, the Semi- results were: 1st place: G.spot, captained by Gareth Holder, and having the most women and freeflyers 2nd Place: All Sac, captained by Chris De Barr, posting the fastest individual round, and having all guys; 3rd Place: Flockin' Ate, captained by Mad John, and the only team to go from first, to second, to third place all in the same skydive. The Texas hold-em poker tournament was abandoned at 10:30 pm and the 3 remaining players split the pot of $180. Needless to say, a good time was had by all. 5. Curt, It's my current favorite T-shirt and Quite the surprise. It's already been to one boogie and will definitely appear at LP. I guess it's the closest to a Herd Boogie I'll ever get. Tell Deb thanks, too. madjohn Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  6. Word to all: Lang beer is back in the Lost Prairie Lounge!! Jeannie, if you can slip down here to Byron, we're having an 8way speed scrambles on the 19th. IF not, see you at the Prairie, Murray says it's been raining alot so hopefully no grasshoppers and dryness this year. I get there on the 21st, when do you and the boat show up? Blue skies and almost sober loads, MadjohnQuote Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  7. We're also having a "Winner take all" TExas Hold-em poker contest, after we've started on Lisa and Boody's beer and food. Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  8. Scratch, You ought to come play with us at Lost Prairie. It's weird there too, but fun, skydiver weird. It would be great to see you again. madjohn Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
  9. Saturday, April 24th at Bay Area Skydiving (Byron). Pair of Kings has proven harder to do the last couple of years so last year we started doing "Cutaway" speed stars, named after that uplifting skydiving flick. This year we're doing scrambles with low-timers on each team. Probably 3 rounds and all the SCR beer that is earned. It's also Mad John's birthday. Come and Play with us.
