Hey Dawgs...here is my situation. I just purchased a PD Lightning 218, have 0 Crew jumps. Was advised to use a cotton type Dbag with #8 grommet vs. Nylon. I contacted Wings (I am going to put it into a W27), they said they don't make cotton bags for Crew for their containers. Do any of you have a contact person who can make me a cotton type Dbag for use with this canopy/container combination??? Thanks! Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

1st off, Laminate is ok if your on a really tight budget. Refinishing cabinet doors is the cheep way to go as well. Your better off replacing the doors with real wood as a 2nd option. If your going to step up the counter top, Granite will show the seams, absolutly. Corian, will not chip, and will not show the seams. Corian, also, has a lifetime warranty for the material, and your installer should give you a warranty for the install as well. My wife is a certified kitchen/bathroom designer..and Corian as well as Granite/Laminate is in her bag of tricks. If you have the extra cash and want to step it up a bit...then go with the Granite. Your overall value of your house will be the same with jGranite or Corian. Now on to the fixtures...there is a lot of way to go from cheapppp to extra spendy. Lots of options in the kitchen. Band new canopies, are still made by people. I have had a reserve do the same as your main, sent it back to the manufacturer...all the lines were out of trim. Replaced with an entirely new canopy...so. Maybe get the trim checked. It could be one of the issues. MY .02. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

If you as a T/I were to purchase your "own" tandem rig, not one provided to you by the DZ, which brand would you purchase and why? What Main/Reserve combo would you choose for an all around 1 Rig to have for yourself? Be Nice! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

How far do you drive to the DZ each weekend??
redramdriver replied to partyboy's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
100 miles exactly each way. 2 hours through the woods, very little interstate driving. Porter, Caravan. 55 miles to the other one, 182's. 70 miles to the next one, 182. all are good, just some days are better then others. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344 -

Please, if your going to post an ad, have the common courtesy and respect for potential buyers to post it as SOLD, if you have sold it. Remove it from the Classified section all together. Answer questions about your item if asked. If those two simple requests can't be done, then take your ad off the Classified List! What a waste of valuable space, and other skydivers time if you can't at least do these simple things. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

Connector strap w/3 ring release
redramdriver replied to redramdriver's topic in Canopy Relative Work
Bob, thanks for responding. As I said, I'm not a CReW Dog, and am just looking for some friends. Your description of that wrap was a reason for not wanting to use this device. Maybe it would be a complete one time reason for never using them that many have chosen not to. I'm just looking for a diagram of photo of one that has been built for descriptive uses only. If they choose to use it then it is their choice. Personally, I haven't done CRW and am not ready to do much more than observe at this time. And, since winter is really on our backs, looks like spring will have to come before any more jumping here. Thanks for you answer. Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344 -
Connector strap w/3 ring release
redramdriver replied to redramdriver's topic in Canopy Relative Work
I'm not a CRew Dog, but some of my best friends are. The question I have is, do you have any information and/or diagrams concerning a 2 person 3 ring release type of connector strap used for side by side crew?? I may not have it exactly correct, but you may know what i'm talking about. They are using it when doing downplanes or the such. Where, either jumper may release away from the other at any time using the release cable on their end of the strap. The jumpers are attached together with the strap, but can independently cut away from the other one on the jump. I hope you have an idea of what I'm trying to describe here. If you have any information, or know of someone who can help, thank you. Mark So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344 -
I think its bound to happen when people who are staying i the sport, take an interest in achieving an instructional rating, and there is a lack of students to train. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

I ordered my 1st Icarus and had it in hand, custom made, in less then 10 days. I am totally happy with the service I received before, during, and after the sale. I have recently ordered another Icarus, and it doesn't matter what the wait is, it is worth the wait. It is custom colored to my specifications, and size. So, when it comes in your going to be just as happy as if you allready had it. Your troubles will soon be forgoten. Just breath, and enjoy. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
