  1. IHOP is fine, especially if you are staying with friends. 4-way room, others larger. Great kitchen, home-style atmosphere, bathrooms are clean, but not spotless. I added a new hot water heater(90gal) last week and a new stovetop is going in Wednesday. Washer and dryer are good, TV& video with lots of movies. Great deal for groups. The bunkhouse is dark!! Bring a little flashlight! Small double bunk (4beds) rooms. Shower down the hall, cleaned every day. The bunkhouse does flood when it rains like it has been doing! Both are safe and warm, and much better deal and closer to the action than motels. Since you are coming in May, you might well stay in a tent. It should be real nice and not too hot yet. Take care and say hay when you get here! -----------------
  2. You're kidding right!?! Please don't slap me for this; but your logic has nothing to do with actual enforcement of this site. [MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE! First off let me thank Sangiro H.H. and the whole gang of moderators I love you guys!for an extremly good website for us crazy folks who jump out of perfectly good airplanes. I started this poll during a delusional moment and I was truely interested in the results, but was somewhat blown away by six pages in 24hrs. The mere fact that this has not been locked or deteriorated into a hatefest delights me. Debate and delusion are alive and well on DZ.com. got to go, knees in breeze!
  3. Please don't ban me for this; I believe it relevent! I was punished last summer for a personal attack and am still bitter, and considering the recent wave of bannings this seems like a good opportunity to see what others think.
  4. Happy Birthday Gary!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out for the seatbelts! MardigrasBob
  5. The answer I got was: The rain falls on the just and the unjust equally. The tragedy in the Pacific is heartrending, and the suffering will likely continue for some time. I just thank the Lord it didn't happen here and realize that it could and probably will one day. I am grateful for the time that I have had and must always remember that tomorrow is promised to no one.
  6. OK--here it goes, close your eyes You are crossing the road with one you profess to love. A big truck comes by and kills them dead; you are unhurt. open your eyes Would you trade places with them? Allowing your love to live out their life without you. Would they do the same for you? ----------
  7. Make it "Drowning in Perris"!! --------------------
  8. Anyone know the proper way to remove beer stains from a Michigan Suit? ------------
  9. Very sensible and well thought out post. Merry Christmas & happy holidays! One question. Why is Atheist capitalized?
  10. Rummy is a great Defense Chief and a brilliant man! The libs just have to push on all the fences; hoping what looks strong might just collapse i.e. Trent Lott. Can't blame them for trying but they need to remember who the enemy really is! ---------------
  11. Having a beautiful Christmas day jumping at Perris, when I get a call from friends in New Orleans. Snow big time! The kids are building a snowman. Wonder how my friends in Moss Point are faring today? ----------
  12. JET! JET! JET! JET! JET! Sorry, couldn't resist! -------------
  13. Willie G. Davidson ---------------
  14. JET! JET! ]JET! JET! JET! -------------
  15. Don't bother. I've got his signiture in mine right here. I think it's his. It starts with a D. The rest is just scribbles. Hmmmm, can I guess whats missing? Do you have a normal M-F weekday job that takes up some of your precious jumping time? BUZZ No! But I would be willing to bet a jump ticket that Darryld will be able to tell you without a second's hesitation, with that smart-ass smile. Tell you what; I 'll whisper it to Muscat and if I'm wrong your jumps on me! ----------
  16. Where Lew joined me on "The first annual Mardigrasbob half naked skydive"! Wanna see the photo?! -------------------
  17. Sheesh! If you're going to admit "seeing Darryld last night" at least spell the man's name right! ltdiver Hell, I was proud just to get the "d" in there! I guess I 'll get him to sign my log book, maybe you too, if you aren't too mean to me! Any way I 'm liv'n my Perris fantasy, well almost; Can you guess what's missing? --------------
  18. --where I lay in my tent and giggle like an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!! -----------
  19. Make your fantasy a reality. Perris is a great place, everybody err. yeah everybody is reaaly cool. I'm sitting at the Bombshelter right now,Gypsy-1 is loading woo-hoo!. I saw Daryld last night and I think his head may be to big for his helmet. Anyway go for your dream; summer days are hot but nights are cool. I stayed from May to August in my van and I loved it. Balloons in the morning! Yes ----------------
  20. Damn right! a couple of them! An armored car too while I was at it! ---------------- What if during those crimes you might have to kill someone. Would you still do it? No! I'm not to hip on the idea of spending eternity in hell, but I always thought robbing a bank would be very cool and 20 years in prison vs. 500 grand or so is somewhat tempting. Back to the thread; I hope the S.O.B. has a long time to reflect on his selfish atrocity. In a perfect world there would be no need for capital punishment and eventually it will be a remnant of the barbaric past, but the world ain't perfect and this is today. The funny thing is: the libs will piss and moan about the D.P. when it involves a minority but are somewhat silent when it comes to a Gacy, Dahlmer, or Bundy. -----------

  22. I'm not assuming anything! I know! Murders committed in a blind rage or a drunken blackout may not be prevented by capital punishment, but crimes of finance, which I believe this was, can be deterred by strong penalties. I also feel that most crime is thought about and the penalty weighed prior to being committed. Most people obey the laws that are too costly to get caught breaking and consciously break the small ones. I think that Lacy and Conner's murderer thought that he would get away with it or that with a good lawyer he could pull an O.J. The pendulum is swinging the other way finally! Secondly, it's not about punishment, it's about prevention. A weak or impotent justice system causes err encourages people to commit crimes that normally they would be too afraid to commit. And last, firm and fair punishment prevents vigilantism. If someone freely murdered someone dear to me or if things got too out of hand where my family was no longer safe; I would be forced to take the law into my own hands. It is the government's solemn duty to fairly and firmly administer justice. -----------
  23. If Lacy and her son's murderer getting executed prevents another unhappy spouse from ending their marriage by the same means; I say kill the motherfucker! --------------
  24. How can a person not believe in God and still have faith that their parachute will open 7000 times? Just because the messenger got the message a little wrong doesn't mean the story that he is trying to tell is bullshit. ------------------
