One of the last days at Phoenix/Zhills (next to Skydive City). An unnamed guy who had a previous history of very low pulls was one of the people who showed up at the DZ in the final days. (a lot of folks who had previously been banned from the DZ were showing up) We did 3 or 4 points on a 16-way and the last point was a big round. Scotty the unnamed jumper moved to the center of the star, did a couple of geeking 360s, and then, without warning, he dumped out of the formation. Terrorized, and realizing that we must be extremely low, everyone else immediately turned to track to at get at least some separation before pulling. We just knew we had to be down in the dirt. As I turned away I noticed (and I'm sure everyone else) that we were just passing through 6 grand. So the "scary, holy shit" part of the jump only lasted a few brief seconds. But the expressions of sheer panic on everyone's faces was priceless.

Google search "fox news brevik arrest" The first actual link to any Fox News story is on the 2nd page and is a new story about the Cambridge Police arrest of Obama's Harvard professor friend. The second actual link to a Fox News story is on page 13 and is latino.foxnews.com I quit looking after page 15. In those 15 pages are many sites whining and pissing and moaning about what a bunch of assholes and liars and scumbags Fox News and Murdoch are. The only stories I could find are about how Fox News are crooks and liars and just refuses to admit that Brevik is a right wing conservative redneck racist hate-mongering republican-like anti-liberal extremist christian.

You may be right here. It appears that the "Overseer" is to be in control of the non-military "wing" of the organization. The bureaucratic wing charged with picking up the pieces of the military wing, awarding awards, funerals, etc. Anders is clearly not "non-militant" and is fascinated with the symbolism of the uniform and medals associated with it. He is a stickler for detail. He has chosen elements of the USMC uniform because he likes the look and a reasonable facsimile (or even the real thing) is available over the internet. Years ago I read an analysis of terrorist tactics, which presented strong evidence that left-wing groups tend to target property and infrastructure associated with specific companies or governments, and usually announce the attack in time for people to be evacuated, or else time the attack so relatively few people were killed.
