  1. I've read through a lot of the posts about digital cameras. I'd really love to get something like a Canon 10d but money is an issue. Therefore, I'm considering the Nikon Coolpix 5000. It seems to be good quality and cheap enough to fit in my budget. I'm curious to hear from people that are currently using that particular camera and what pitfalls they've run into. Can you fire off pictures in fairly quick succession or do you find that even during freefall you're waiting for the camera to write to the card? Any insights would be extremely helpful.
