  1. I am not in rush with PF Mono. Mono has been close to be offered to market but I decide to put it on pending despite of very nice performance as I was not entirely happy with overall design. I am going to make it to fly and look better and for sure different than Masai and its imitation.
I have no reason to rush as the people who trust in PTS trust in PF Mono already. I follow my own way and not the noise from internet...

  2. You ask me over FB two months ago about SU?!
Two month ago the suit was in testing and if you asked me , that answer you probably get...
I am not rushing posting video of the suit asap the first one is made nor introducing one suit than after the stesting and R&D is done selling something else.

Would be nice to introduce on WS forum as well,m so to know who is talking.

  3. Maybe best answer what are the differences between Phantom EDGE and P3 would be following;
Check the changes between Havok and Havok CARVE
Both suits looks the same but nothing is actually the same.
Same goes for P3 and Phantom EDGE
    or Shadow2 - Shadow EDGE.

Phantom EDGE went through changes on every part of the suit.
There is slight change in Arms and leg wing, wing orientations , wing angles, booties, body , grippers and vents.
Suit is not bigger, but my focus was to make the Edge even more user friendly. P3 was the suit were you feel the suit like second skin. Phantom EDGE came so close that is hard to design the suit to be more friendly and intuitive.
Testing left us very surprised in a positive way.

  4. Doctors in 'Murica are known as a well organized part of community who back each other up, protect each other. That same group are known to be prone to corruption by the pharmacy industry as well. Sadly to often they become very biased and subjective. Such attitude ruins their attitude and their judging skills with time too.;)
Hjumper, must be that attitude from your work now transfers to this forum. Underestimating people who read this forum.
I know that in order to turn you into 'my friend' all I need to do is give you a free suit, canopy, container etc. but sadly this is not my style.

Disclaimer: this post has a disclaimer and a smiley, so its ok.

  5. Lurch,
Much better ! You see you can be shorter..
    However there is lesson No2..
Your or others personal greatness has to be judged by others ( readers in this case ) not by yourself !! OK?!
This way you have to read message Murf62 wrote..
In other words, making the ''novel'' every time you enter in to DZ.com world won't help people to get better as rarely anyone reading it
...I am writing this w/o cherry and creme..

  6. Lurch, damn it!!!!

I am waiting the time to come when you will get the skill to express yourself in 5 to10 lines maximum. I know that you like to read again and again what you wrote here but good teacher and experience person are recognized by skill of saying little but important .
Practice please to write less and say more ..
    It is cute skill

  7. 1.put two tables together
2.lay on it so that line were tables are connected goes from head down to toes, lay so that half of the body is on the left part of the table and half on the right.
3.tie your hands on the back so you can't put them under you before you will impact on the floor.
4.cover your eyes w the strap so you cant see
5.tell your friends to move the tables simultaneously when you say ready set go..
    6Yahoo!!
    7.Call the ambulance!!!

This will be the landing at its best if all work like in your dream :)
Do i need to tell you that you shouldn't do it as you may end up w broken neck , Brest cage, internal injuries, etc...
And this is all after fall from 1m without any horizontal speed, woithout any WS :))

This is like one hour from where I live :)
Unfortunately, I just got news that I am having a son right before I was gonna start my BASE-jumping career, so I thought long and hard about it (ok, not that long) and decided to live to be a father rather than lying dead in some montain.

(Ok, it wasen't very "unfortunate" at all, but I kind of regret that I didnt get my first jump:)

    :)

  9. PC hesitations are actually very common in WS BASE. 99% of the time it's down to a lazy pull, with the reasons usually being fatigue of the jumper, cold, stress or fear.

If the jumper is wearing a suit with bigger wings, they tend to be flying slower on both axis (horizontal and vertical), which combined with the increased turbulence caused by the bigger wings, can lead to the time needed for the PC to clear to be considerably longer than when using smaller wings, or suits with a faster forward speed.

Jumping bigger wings in BASE can be fun, but the jumper has to be very experienced and fully understand the risks. Opening low with big wings can get you into serious trouble. One lazy pull, combined with a low opening altitude can be fatal.

  10. what u consider landing a wing suit?
crashing and surviving this after intensive medicare in hospital after few months , probably paralyzed.
    ...or...
landing on the hard ground, so that you go again up and repeat , just as gangglider pilots do?!

All you trying to do here is to convince themselves that one will do that! sure one will! actually some did it already..

Denis landed few years ago w canopy barely inflated and slider still up! Does that count?! As you guys here describing-that landing should be recognized as the first as he was using the canopy only as the tool to get the landing gear in right angle and direction toward the ground! :SB|

Silly all this... as I said go and pass by something solid and think what would be less painful to expose (chest, head, legs ) prior being dead!!

  11. Mark, all this what you place as example has little to nothing with the subject of landing the WS without parachute.

What would be the part of the body which will take first hit?! on the slope or not ?! What you think?!
How you will control the body slide?! How you will prevent rolling or after first contact?!
Do you have any idea of the speed you need to deal with?!
Vertical speed is the last thing I am worried about, btw..

Guys, we have lack of span - period!
Speed what jumper need to deal with is simply to high to control.
Those who don't believe let take chance and fly the slowest and closest to one SOLID object to get the idea. All this theoretical brainstorming is fun but just please ask your self :
What will be the first contact point on my body when I going to be flying to land my self?!
    head, chest, belly legs?!
    Start from there... OK

  12. IMHO, all this talking about the body amour and protection as the way to go is useless as there would not be much help from this.
Human body is made so that whenever you jump from something you need to land on legs. Legs are human landing gear , not chest not head, not neck.
Placing the armor around the back chest neck or wherever will not protect the human from serious injury or death.

The outcome is similar if you confront two tanks and make them frontal crash at high speed ( 50 mph)
Whole crew in both tanks will be dead despite the tons of protection around them...
    There is no deformation zone...
analogy to this is that it is irrelevant if the chest cage would be smashed from impacting on the grass, concrete, asphalt or will be crashed from impacting in to body armor...

Hangglider is the perfect example how is possible to land and what span we need top provide enough lift.. also, check hangglider pilots on landing... they use legs!!!

    Think outside the box.
    .

    correct!
take small elliptical canopy , hook legs for rear risers and make nice 360 degree hook turn without flare!
That is how WS landing on grass will look!
    or....

Get two tables together lie on it so that your body is symmetrical w the edge line of were the tables meet together.. ask your friends to move the tables , but so that you don't know when it will happened.. yes tie the hands on your back before!
You'll finish in the hospital or will be dead probably... On top of that feeling now ad 100 km of horizontal speed!

BTW, To land WS - possible! People doing this from time to time by using hang gliders... :SB|:P[:/]

  14. The system it self look ok. It is there, sits firm and OK on the lower leg..., after cutaway the platform goes with canopy , etc...., Anyway, i think it will be still unstable, unless the camera is very light.. However, even though it has the cutaway system- dont count on it to much.
IMHO, the whole system has to be design so that if canopy snug the platform or camera, the camera platform brakes and goes with canopy!! If the canopy snug the platform in BASE , the chance for survival are very low, because no matter how fast cuttaway will be the mess produced by the snug will be faster and violent. Hoping for chance to get the canopy fully open after are minimal.

Position of the camera mounted there is very very dangerous in BASE ws flying. More efficient fly is - more dangerous it is.
The canopy has great possibility to hook the cameraduring line stretch....

I was using symilar position once and after checking the footage of the video i droped such cam position. The pack is passing by so close that chance for getting the lines in to cam is way to high.
