  1. “Investors are fading on green energy investment funds due to worries about the sector’s ability to grow and the possible return of former President Donald Trump to the White House, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing analysis conducted by a firm called LSEG Lipper. Funds that invest specifically in green energy companies and products around the world saw investment outflows totaling $4.8 billion during the first quarter of 2024, the largest amount in a single quarter on record, according to Reuters. Meanwhile, the S&P Global Clean Energy Index has tanked by about 10 percentage points this year while the S&P 500 Energy Index — a fund that features many oil and gas companies — is up by more than 16% this year so far.” Looks like the money is doing the talking
  2. Never said it. But let’s say the editorial staff at NPR consisted of 87 Democrats and 500+ independents and zero Republicans. The point you are unable to wrap your brain around is that would still lack diversity. (I’m starting to believe I am conversing with Simple Jack)
  3. Wrong about what? That an NPR staffer and self described liberal Democrat said that there were 87 Democrats and zero Republicans on the DC editorial staff. Or that they falsely reported that intelligence agencies claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation AKA hoax? News flash THEY DID.
  4. English must not be your first language and clearly you have no idea what NPR is, at this point I am just wrestling with a pig.
  5. From the New York Post 4/13/24 “The NPR battle went public when veteran journalist Uri Berliner wrote an essay condemning what he called the “lack of viewpoint diversity” in his workplace. He checked the political registrations of editorial colleagues in Washington, DC, and found 87 were registered Democrats, and none were registered Republicans.” Bingo!
  6. “In October 2020, NPR public editor Kelly McBride responded to a listener who asked why NPR had not reported on scandals surrounding Hunter Biden, including business connections he made overseas. That same month, the New York Post had dropped its reporting on Biden's laptop, which was then suppressed by Big Tech giants Facebook and Twitter, and dismissed as Russian disinformation by numerous outlets. (Including NPR) McBride claimed there are "many, many red flags in that New York Post investigation" and Intelligence officials have warned "that Russia has been working overtime" to keep the story in the news.”
  7. That is what you said last time I proved you wrong
  8. I have already posted that in this thread go back and look. No there are independent voters as well, why do you ask?
  9. What part of “science is not done by consensus” eluded you? Paraphrasing Einstein, No a number of climate scientists can ever prove me right; a single one can prove me wrong. If you were a student of history you would know that science is more often wrong than it is right. Questioning science IS LITERALLY HOW SCIENCE IS DONE.
  10. Do you have anything to support that claim or are you just spouting off nonsense? I’ll do my best Jakee….”LIAR!!! PROVE IT!!! I WANT TO SEE PROOF!!!
  11. That number has declined as the signal for anthropological climate change has failed to materialize, the growing number of skeptics even includes a recent Nobel prize winner. Check out my Climate Change the Movie post, lots of scientists, lots of data. BTW science is not done by consensus. If it were the Earth would still be at the center of the universe and white people would still be considered superior.
  12. In a staff meeting their CEO said that DEI was their “North Star” and that the would now be agents for change. They also said they would no longer cover both sides of the climate issue. Unfortunately NPR has gone full woke.
  13. “Berliner said that among editorial staff at NPR’s Washington, DC, headquarters, he counted 87 registered Democrats and no Republicans. He wrote that he presented these findings to his colleagues at a May 2021 all-hands editorial staff meeting. “When I suggested we had a diversity problem with a score of 87 Democrats and zero Republicans, the response wasn’t hostile,” Berliner wrote.” From the New York Post April 10
  14. Jakee did you miss this? From the Telegraph April 10 “Mr Berliner, who has spent 25 years at NPR, attributes its shift in coverage to Donald Trump’s election in 2016 – noting that he voted against the former president twice but attempted to cover him fairly.” More proof for you to to ignore
  15. Yes, but I’m sure someone else must have said something similar.
  16. From the Telegraph April 10 “Mr Berliner, who has spent 25 years at NPR, attributes its shift in coverage to Donald Trump’s election in 2016 – noting that he voted against the former president twice but attempted to cover him fairly.” More proof for you to to ignore
  17. Dude, IT WAS A JOKE!! And yes everyone knows that the poor are disproportionately impacted by poverty.
  18. I’m not going to waste my time, last time I gave you evidence you came back with “Ok so NPR’s literature department is biased but…” Apparently your brain is so damaged by Trump Derangement Syndrome that you are unable to connect the dots and when the dots are connected for you, you refuse to see them. If you want to believe that a self described NPR lifer is secretly a member of the John Birch Society, and a rabid Trump supporter, have fun with your delusion.
  19. I just read this to my wife and FWIW she is in full concurrence
  20. You are too fun. It has been widely reported and NPR has not disputed the veracity of that claim. If you have some evidence to the contrary, I am all ears. But you can’t, so I will just sit back and laugh at you.
  21. I guess you don’t know what “fits the mold” means. Also he is an editor at NPR and all 88 editors at NPR are Democrats…ZERO Republicans. (Use your brain) Congratulations you join Olof in the… Club
