I'm looking at getting a new pair of goggles. I wear contacts therefore I can't go with the "sunglasses". I'm looking for something a bit stylish and I have found that the Blaze goggles seem to look good. Anyone have these or have a pic of themselves with them on?? All the pics I can find are of the goggles only. I have a 1 month old son who was recently diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss. I have so many questions my mind is spinning. Even though he isn't a skydiver yet... (he does have 15 in utero jumps)... hehe. I was just hoping to network a bit and see if any deaf skydivers out there had any information for me regarding his condition, or your own stories. I would say Lodi for the fact that they are def. prepared for tandem's, and we have lot's of packers. Although hitting up a boogie is always a good idea. Could be anyone... I know Will was working back then as a TM, but he doesn't have blonde hair, just blonde highlights. Your best bet is to call or go down there and just ask around. I don't hear much negativity about BASE... unless like BASE813 said, it's coming from the older crowd. The low time jumpers will usually say something like "Seems a bit crazy... don't think I will ever do it". But these are also the same people that like to do ground crew and watch. The other newbies will just say "yah, maybe one day". Fleece underwear... hmmmmmmm good suggestions... one of the girls is a bit nervous about staying stable & together.. so I wouldn't want to do wrestle her. But it does sound like fun! Gave me a good idea for another jump. 3 way kiss was one of our suggestions... ooo open accordian, that sounds fun!

OK so myself and 2 of my g/f's are trying to plan a jump for this weekend (provided weather holds out). One of the girls is moving back to Montana, so we are doing a "farewell" jump. We have tossed around a few idea's... We all have between 35-50 jumps, so belly flying is what will work best so that we all stay together. It's too cold to go in underwear so that idea was scratched... any others? Well I live 45 min from SF, and 10 min from Pitt. SF is fun to party at, and have great food and night life. But yes the people (esp. during the work days) SUCK!! I refuse to drive there, I'll take BART or someone else can drive. Unless I'm just going to the airport. Some of the bums can actually be real cool, I have found myself partying it up with them outside of some of the clubs. I have been to LA, but haven't hung out too much there. So I can't really compare. As far as the shooting in Pitt. last night... well that's expected in Pitt. Road rage in Pitt. is asking for trouble. Would love to see a pic when you get one! I just cut 6 inches off my blonde locks last night! I actually did a little experiment once... as I have always had blonde hair, and like you, it was white when I was younger. Anyway I dyed it a darker brown and went back to the gym I had been working out at...for one, no one new I was the same girl, and you should have seen the difference in the way the guys treated me.. it was like all of a sudden I had a brain! Although I do live in California...
