  1. This event is on 9/11, September 11th, at almost 40 different drop zones across America and the world. We are trying to get it at every drop zone across America from North to South and from East to West. I've attached a flier and the jersey link (Option Studios: https://www.pullupcords.com/911 NOTE all the proceeds from the sales go to three different 9/11 foundations). On the page from Option Studios, you can see the list of drop zones that will be participating in the event. If your drop zone is also and is not on the list, please send me a note and I'll make sure they add it to the list. This is my vision. It is not about politics, or social issues. It is about the people who did their job that day. Going up into the tower knowing they would not be coming back down. About the passengers of flight 93 taking their own fate into their hands and saying, "No, you will not use this plane to do more damage to America." Thank you for your time and have a great rest of the day and week. Patrick
  2. I'm trying to find someone or a company who builds flags (U.S. Flag) 400 to 500 Square feet. Suggestions? Thanks.
  3. If you are serious, get a camera suit. Small or not, the angle is important. Some of the exercises my coach put me through are: Burble flying (start high and slow and make sure the coach is good at avoiding you). Dropping straight down vertically. You have played catch up with a funnel. It works great. Ascending vertically. When you come off the plane a bit early.... Relax and have fun with a game of "TAG". The coach touches a place in the tunnel and you touch it. Doing the same moves as your coach. Just a few suggestions. Good luck and have fun. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  4. The chin mount has a cut away system built into it. NOTE: Not sure about a major snag hazard but hey, Opinions. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  5. Great info. I looked at all of the newest ones and test drove the Coral for 30 days. Adobe doesn't have a "Test" version, that I could find, for video. Now, what about music. Which video editor has the best video selections? Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

  7. Good morning Everyone, I'm a new camera flyer and am looking to add "EDITING" to my skill set. I do OK with stills but, I need the video editing option also. Suggestions? I reviewed the past question and three come up: 1. Premier/Adobe Creative Suite, 2. Vegas, and 3 Pinnacle Studio. I've heard the Golden Knights use one that is rather easy to learn and once you set up the sections, the program imports the parts of the video straight to the spot. So, thoughts? Suggestion? Options? I'll have a strong laptop and a strong desktop but want to be able to use the laptop as the main source of editing. Thank you all. 8. Sounds like I jumped one step ahead of what I should be doing. Thank you both for the great advice. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  9. I have not jumped it yet. Grounded with a scope to my right knee. Torn cartilage. Ok. So, checking out the used Sigma 19 and the 35/50 mm. Wish me luck. Ring site is a great idea.... Slow but steady. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  10. Why not the lens? I'm using it on the ground and it takes some very good pictures? I was going to play with it a bit in the air and see what it does. NOTE: I'm still very new at video/camera flying.... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  11. A quick update. Sent an e-mail with the pictures to both Chutingstar and Tonfly. I also ordered a camera mount for the front of the helmet. Time to see what they both think. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  12. A quick question. I'll be calling Chutingstar in the AM but, I just bought a Tonfly 2X camera helmet. I asked for a GoPro Curved Forehead Safety Mount, which was mounted. The problem is the holes they drilled are to high to mount the new Hero 5 and have a Zoom lens on my A6000. I'm trying to see if I can "Patch" the holes, redrill the mounting holes lower so I can mount the Hero 5. Everything was mounted prior to attaching the hardware. So, I've got all the hardware and am trying to mount it. If I redrill the holes, it will mount the correct way with the low profile mount. Thoughts? Yes, I'll call Chutingstar and give Tonfly an email with the pictures.... Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  13. Got them and thanks..... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  14. Does the cage mount like the camera or does it take the place of the camera mounting and you mount the camera in the cage? I would say the later. I like the part of the cable management. I'm an I.T. guy and well, "CABLE DRESSING" is second nature. Thank you for the link and I'm looking at it. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
  15. Got it. I did order the switch. I'll post pictures when I get it set up. Thanks. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
