You sound just like my boyfriend. He is always mentioning that if gas was more expensive like it is back home for him in Germany that people would start thinking about saving their natural resources. He talked me into my little diesel car, and I've thanked him for bringing it up.. Especially since I've got 21,000 on the car already and only made about 25 trips to the gas station. But I do see how much money I save when before I had to go every week and sometimes twice a week, now I go once a month, twice if I drive all over hell and creation. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

Well I won't have any problems finding gas. I filled up on Friday so I should be good until around the 5th or the 12th of September... Can usually go around 3 weeks without filling up! Thank god for my little car that "can make it to Vail on a tank of gas" (according to the commercials). I have a little Golf TDI and my average is about 750 miles to a tank.

The gas stations get a truck that drops off gas and people start to figure out that the station is now selling fuel and wham, traffic from hell and everyone sitting right in the middle of parking lots, people trying to sneak in line in front of people. It is pretty bad. The parking lot at my work was pretty empty, and I work for a pretty large company!!!! Someone told me that they paid 3.99 a gallon somewhere, we lucked out and only paid .04 over the posted price (after waiting over 2 hours just to fill up-boyfriend drove in from CA and thought I was overexagerating on the gas shortage). That station was empty again this morning on my way to work. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

Usually (lately at least) 10-15 faster, why... Because that is the flow of traffic most of the tme (plus I love speed), and I have a VW Golf TDI. When I rode my motorcycle I was pretty consistant with only 5-10 over, unless on a freeway that didn't have a lot of traffic... take the time to appreciate the people around you.

Unfortunately I've seen 2, and let me tell you 2 too many. My first one was on my first CRW jump and that will stick with me a lifetime. I thought it was bumped up to 3, but Eric is going to be back in the air in no time (lets hope as soon as possible) and I am SOOOO glad for that. My 2nd was Holly. Didnt see the actual accident, but was close enough to see the aftermath. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

I think the fact that you are looking into donating your hair is a great idea. If you are going to chop it go for something fun, you seem like you have the attitude to pull off the fun hair and if it is done right it will not look bad like you think!!! But my hair short is more work than it is long so you might want to keep that in mind as well. Go for it! I wish I were so brave!!!

High: Finding out I barely pulled an A for 1st summer semester on a foreign language. Low: Finding out my instructor for 2nd semester isn't as understandable as my first one.... take the time to appreciate the people around you.

Well I have a job that will pay for my education and my boss is pretty cool (normally it HAS to be job related or your bos has to approve it), mine isn't necessarily job related but it could impress some customers when they come in from other countries. By the time I'm done I should have a minor in a foreign language (now I just have to pick my major).... Eeekk!!!! I'm already started in my courses and they pay for me to be gone during work hours. So GRAB THAT OPPORTUNITY. Even if they only pay for so many courses per semester, it is better than covering 100% of it on your own right? I was actually shocked at how many people ask, or they think it is a tribal thing because I made mine w/ a beaded necklace.. Ha! Reminds me of that song by ZZ top, but it isn't about pearls.....
