I have been chasing a contractor down to come and lay tile in the house (about 1000 square feet worth) and he keeps putting me off. Well last night he decided to go out drinking and I was honestly expecing him here or at least a phone call by 9am this morning. I call him at 9.30 and he calls back at 10.20 saying he made a bad choice last night and just woke up. Personally I don't really care about his "bad" choices, he had obligations and I'm living in 4 different rooms waiting for him to lay tile. I also found someone else who would come lay it this week, so I'm 1/2 way tempted to make him share the job w/ someone else because he blew me off all weekend. So much for my jumping this weekend. I think that is what pissed me off the most. I had planned to get out of here at 9.30 and head to the DZ, get a couple of jumps in and come back here and paint.. So, what would you do. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

I'm picking up Canuck 278 and friend on the 23rd at 6.10pm and there is room for one more comfortably w/ gear and suitcase, etc if you are interested? take the time to appreciate the people around you.

I went through all of my Tandems and AFF training there. Nice little cessna DZ during the summer and the owner brings in a caravan through the winter time. And I got a call from a friend of mine today who goes out there often and he said they are actually getting an otter this winter from the 27th to the 5th or so of january... (plus $14 jumps) so even though I'm spoiled by Eloy's bigger faster planes I'll have to go out there to say hi to some people I haven't seen in a while and jump the otter that they will have out there.. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

I started because a guy I worked with payed for 1/2 of my jump just to get me started. I continued because I loved the feeling of it and how free you feel. there isn't anything like it in the world. I actually layed in the driveway for about an hour when I got home and just looked at the sky. I've never looked at it the same since.

My Boyfriend!!! But he will be in Germany spending time with his kids for the holidays... Have to share though I guess. take the time to appreciate the people around you.

Oops, should have said a day huh? Anytime from the 19th on and anytime during the day since I have a few weeks off work right around then, plus I have room for 4 (except on Xmas day it looks).

I used to jump out at Coolidge quite a bit when he was out there and honestly he seems like every other person out there. Very cordial and polite and DAMN HIS PLANE IS FAST!!!!!!!! Miss that he is actually not out there anymore. Guess I'll have to go start chasing the boogie circuits and become a real skydiver... Seriously though, I heard about the "dirty secret" and since I had met him before I knew and already based my opinion of him off of my own personal experience then who really gives a shit? take the time to appreciate the people around you.

The birds w/o their cage because the cage has to be dis-assembled to get in my car, and the computers, cameras and pictures and rigs. But if I had time I'd start grabbing stuff that I couldn't replace or didn't want to (ie movies and furniture). I'm in So Cal now and flying back to Phoenix tonight, but what a mess here... Actually they are called Potato leaves...??? I walked into a nursery here in town and explained to the lady what I was trying to do and found some plants that matched her jumpsuit almost perfectly. They were nice enought o get me a small garbage bag full of just the leaves (their plant needed to be preened anyway is what she told me), and just asked for $10 for it all. take the time to appreciate the people around you.
