So one of the questions......... Is that amount normal? If there had been no press about this, would $150,000 bail be within the "norms" Second. Has the T.M. supports moved from he must be arrested (he has) to he must be convicted? The pictures that leaked today of the head wound sure seem to support Zimmermans story. This is interesting, the fact that they took the effort to point out that he never mention the mans race without first being asked. It seems the idea that Zimmerman was a racist is being slowly debunk. Saw where Z family had written the NAACP in Sanford to ask they they stop making it sound like Z was a racist, Pushing back in hard terms. They have also set up a web page for donations to offset his legal fees and to help pay bills as he can't work. Be interesting to see if any Congressman come forward to give him money or support....LOL - that isn't going to happen. Did I miss something? My understanding was that the only time they spoke was when T.M approached Z and ask something to the effect if "do you have a problem..." and the fight broke out. Of course that can't be proved. So is the above just speculation that know one has suggested in either of the T.M or Zimmerman camps? News reports are saying that the rally organizers in Sanford and Miami estimates of "tens of thousands" fell way short. Press interest has dropped way off. I would think there would be a rally Tuesday when the grand jury is called??? Looking at my interest in all this. I really am intersted in the "truth" I'll be honest. Dave, the way your laying it out I would agree with (mostly) it just seems that it didn't happen that way. BUT ONLY by what is beiong reported. I think the real pisser on this will be that there doesn't seem to be any eye witnesses that saw the entire thing. Following someone is not illegal that I know of for whatever reason. Punching someone in the nose and bashing there head on the ground is. We just don't know enough facts IMO to make a call. This entire thing captured my interest in watching how the press handled it, along with the black community leaders. As of now I believe that Zimmerman at the least used very poor judgement. His claim was that his son – AFTER saying “Ok” to the dispatcher when told not to follow T.M. – continued to walk in the same direction he was walking when he lost T.M. His reasoning was to get the address of an apartment to tell the police where to go. ONCE he got that he reversed direction to head back to the car and ran into T.M. To me that slightly weakens Zimmerman’s case. He apparently did not stop and return directly to his car. Of course this is not proof but the fact that the father is telling the story and that Zimmerman’s lawyers were there indicates that this is what they will state later – if it goes to trial. The lawyers did say that there was ample physical evidence to back up Zimmerman’s story. So far unless you are a conspiracy person the physical evidence seems to be supporting Z’s story. Bill I was refering ti the fact that if he isn't arrested and ONE if the three investigating agency's doesn't agree than it will not be accepted by the TM group - same I guess for the Z group.
