Will Ferrels (sp) version of "Afternoon Delight" Afternoon Delight The Starland Vocal Band Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight gonna grab some afternoon delight. My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right. Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night. When everything's a little clearer in the light of day. And you know the night is always gonna be there any way. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite looking forward to a little afternoon delight. Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Started out this morning feeling so polite I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling a little afternoon delight. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Please be waiting for me baby when I come around. We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight. Repeat chorus.....................LOL

On Bonehead, Mindwrap - Where better to mount ring sight
NoPush replied to wanni's topic in Photography and Video
I most often see it mounted here. You need to make sure the extension is far enough above the eye to allow room for the swivel and ring sight. Put the extension, swivel, and ring sight together loosely and find the best angle while holding the extension in the general area shown in the picture (on the side of your dominant eye of course). Cheers -

Riding the Airport beacon light naked after many brews. Burning mr. Happy and the inside of my legs because the light was way hot. Then leaping of the light, missing the catwalk, and dangling by one hand over the side of the tower. Best part is then having to show the scares every time the story comes up at the DZ. Beacon #21

Sony HC85 in BoneHead's TRV Box - Heads up
NoPush replied to NoPush's topic in Photography and Video
I thought so too....... Someone a while back emailed me the pic and I had a vinyl shop recreate it from a sticker I bought on the web. Sums up how I feel in the plane waiting to get to altitude. If his other hand was pointing to his head it would be a great logo for BoneHead. My girlfriend got pissed when I put it on my helmet.......go fiqure... I think it was called or titled Boneronie. Do a search. Cheers! -
Sony HC85 in BoneHead's TRV Box - Heads up
NoPush replied to NoPush's topic in Photography and Video
Hey everyone, Heads up on mounting a DCR-HC65 or HC85 in BoneHead's TRV Box for the TRV50/80 series. You will need to put a 1/2-in plate in the bottom of the D-Box to raise the camera for a proper fit. I used a cheep plastic cutting board and cut a plate about 5 1/2 by 2 3/8 inches. Remove the foam pad on the bottom of the D-Box and mount the plate. I mounted the plate as part of the D-box by extending the screws to 3/4-in from the 1/4-in provided by BoneHead and used the flat nuts provided BoneHead. Use a 3/4-in Flat Boring bit for wood to recess the flat nuts flush with the plate. A little extra foam than what is provided is also needed for a snug fit of the camera. With the plate, the HC65/85 fits great in the D-Box. Cheers! -
I fixed Scott's camera on top of my locker Sat. and noticed other jumpers moving their cameras as far away from me as possible...............when I got it torn down to about five pieces, a couple of folks stood behind me with kind of a blank stare.......had it back together during a 15min call and the stares became shaking heads..... It's not rocket science Let me barrow the PD170.......ok let me just hold it.......come on look no screw drivers anywhere...I sware Cheers!

Update............ Even with the lens assembly completely sealed, the "shutter" is still noticeable. The spring idea basically disables the SteadyShot functionality and the resulting video is worse than the "shutter" issue. By completely sealing the internal lens body I was able to reduce the "shutter" significantly, but it is still noticeable on exit and certain speeds and body positions during FF/RW. The only thing I did not try was putting the camera in a completely sealed box. The SteadyShot hardware just can't compensate for the vibration caused by FF/RW. So I'm throwing in the towel on this project. Bottom line is the TRV850, TRV950, and PDX10 all have identical lens bodies and all have the "shutter" problem. Cheers!

Quote Do NOT use the push-in wiring feature of cheap outlets; use the screw terminals on the sides. Quote Great point........never use the stabs on any application! It's a spring and they relax when they get hot. Like a nail backing out of siding...the wire runs away......like my......oh never mind
-
Your diagram is with in code spec. Your allowed 8 outlets/devices/fixtures for 14awg(gauge) wire and 13 for 12awg. Breakers are tripped by heat under load and vary from -8% to +25% tolerance which also depends on brand. (i.e. Sylvania/Cutler-Hammer are trigger happy, while SqaureD and Bryant can take their share of heat. There is no safety issue here....but if the breaker trips more than say 10 times in the course of a year.....replace it and consider adding a circuit or better manage your load. Every time a breaker trips it gets more sensitive.......kind of like my girl friend.........never mind.. ;( Cheers Edited for errors......been drinkin'....couldn't read my own damn post....figures
