Obviously my Seamstress (whom you all at DZ.COM know well) has a punked style sense of humor …… At Nationals and in a drunken release of tension (great excuse to party) after 4 way comp, I decided to wrestle my team mates. End result was a huge tare down the side of my favorite shorts. I knew just the person to repair my already old and thrashed shorts since she makes jump suits all day. Instructions were simple…..”Big ugly patch with character.” A few days later ….. I came home to find my favorite shorts all fixed up ….. Character I wanted and character I got ….. a 2in wide by 12in long 1972 circa rainbow stripe down the left side …. Awesome I thought ….. too funny!! Next day I took my kids and girlfriend to lunch …… first thing the GF said was “ummm that’s Gay” to which I laughed “I know too funny huh?” …. But then she said “no Jim .. that really is Gay…You really don’t get it do you” Walking through the restaurant I noticed a couple of double takes at my awesome repair job ….. but when I hit the DZ …. Holy sh$t … even my students were explaining “I was sending the wrong message.” Since when is a frikin rainbow stripe like wearing a billboard?? …… Any suggestions for some creative revenge??????????

I was in Milwaukee for some work deal a few years ago and was walking through a really upscale Mall in Mayfield Heights with a buddy. Saw this really cute girl in a sunglass shop and decided to flirt…… I think my line was “I really want some wire frame sunglasses but need help choosing a style.” We flirted for at least a half hour trying on all sorts of sunglasses. She chose a pair made by Machino that were actually really cool. So we talked for a while about stuff to do in town etc. and then she starts ringing up my sunglasses. I throw down a credit card while asking if she would like to meet a bunch of us later for drinks. She actually said sure and then slid me the receipt to sign………$489 and change……I f**ing shit and just stared at the receipt for a sec…..and then yes I F**ing signed it not wanting to look like an idiot She never showed that night…. I think I paid an over limit fee on my card like $50 bucks….. Then a couple of months later another buddy sat on them at a concert….. Darn chicks….

Last year I spent $800+ on Pearls and the relationship fizzled......damn that's a lot of jump tickets was the first thing that went through my head when we split. This year I'm going with a inexpensive getaway for the new girl friend for some one on one time. Plan a three day weekend with some cool things to do you planned your self. If you’re a guy you will get credit for the effort. Unfortunately Skymama, girls are great at planning getaways and rarely get the credit they deserve. Your safer going sentimental and inexpensive for the first Christmas.

Get a good book on fiberglass that has a section on making enclosures. An experience jumper at our DZ wrapped his camera with cellophane and used it as a template to form a box. The process I guess is time consuming, but the results were awesome. Good luck.......post your results!

I like to swing the sight out of the way. I also like it a little further away from my eye. Most who fly the FT-Pro said it would not work or preferred the post.........which only pushed me harder to try it. It's just a personal preference Also JP in the only other FT-Pro I've seen set up this way.
