today I sent out my settlement offer letter via Certified US Mail: # 7099 3220 0010 0574 5527 and I hand delivered it in person to the insurance adjusters office.. I was very nice & Polite. here is reply I got from My insurance agent today.. Dear Mr. Boland Mr. Al Rowland with Unitrin Specialty Insurance contacted the office regarding emails and appearances you have made at the Unitrin Specialty Insurance office. Mr. Rowland reported that these emails and visits have been threatening and harassing and he requests you stop any further contact with his office. WTF??

I can't get my car back its in body shop. they won't release the car and I can't get transmission issue resolved..because I won't settle with insuance company. looks like I' going to have to leave it there...hopefully building up storage charges...$$$ they sent me a check Fedex overnight I refused it sent it back Fedex overnight without opening it.

June 15th, While waiting to make a left turn, against on coming traffic, I was rear ended, and shoved up curb, killing engine. I wasn't hurt got out to see about driver who hit me. He wasn't hurt either.. I told him let's move out cars out of traffic into gas station & exchange information. When I depressed clutch to restart car, I felt a "clunk" noise / feeling though clutch pedal... now every gear the transmission grinds trying to engage the gear, but it will shift into gear. It took me a week to get other guys insurance company to deal with it. In mean time I was forced to burn / use 2 vacation days due not being able get ride to work (I work midnights) After week bumming rides to / from work I was given a rental car by insurance company of guy that hit me.. today bodyshop that did work texted me (i'm deaf) told me the car is done. but they won't fix the transmission claiming clutch is weak / worn out.. my 2005 VW Jetta TDI has 122K miles on it. I had no issues or problems with the clutch before this accident. I went out on back lot to look at Car.. all freshly painted and washed... but on left rear quarter panels where tail lights meet body they are supposed to be flush with tail light lense. right side rear quarter panel sticks out "outboard" about 1/8" and left side quarter panel sticks inboard about 1/8" instead of being flush. I wasn't able to open trunk and inspect rest of it I stopped and discussed this with MY insurance agent he told me not to accept the body work repairs... and on transmission he wasn't sure so he made few calls and was told due to age (2005) & mileage nothing they can do about transmission. I say bullshit. any advise to dealing with insurance company of the guy that hit me? Looks like I'm going to have to hire a lawyer at MY $$ thanks mike

what heck skydive Dallas is a Tandem Factory too..

back in 2005... we picked up Billy Vance in Alabama, and Billy did the driving from at 2 am from Atlanta to Lake wales...there was no traffic out that time of the night... That Crazy fucker Billy drove at 105 to 110 mph for like 3 hours...I'm surprised we didn't get stopped by cops... but we still averaged 42 mpg on that leg of the trip.. with Billy driving... the TDI was hardly working.. running 3500 rpms...in 5th gear..I think Billy likes that TDI....

One thing I love about my VW TDI's.....they both get far better milage than the posted mpg at the dealerships. The new one I looked at a year ago was listed at 42MPG hwy and 30 MPG city... I have yet to ever get less than 45 MPG average between city and country roads in mine while commuting about 250 miles a week.....and I have managed to get over 60 MPG on a long trip... flat freeway doing 70 MPH. I usually get about 650 miles to a tank of fuel.

Anna (Dargri) sorry I haven't replied...I been very busy plus lot overtime at work lately. like Travis said, it's tough in Europe and where you are, Belarus, they won't help you at all... I know you have looked in to jumping in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, studied official medical documents, contacted some experienced instructors. The reply was a definite no way to get a permission from medical board, no methods of teaching a person in my circumstances, (above arm amputee) no way to modify rig to SOS but in USA it shouldn't be a problem. I've shared few Emails with DanG (Dan Glanz) we both are arm amputee skydivers and Me & DanG agreed that you have your head screwed on right and are serious about skydiving and have done your homework on issue of being a amputee skydiver. I work for American Airlines AA and am willing to give you a buddy Pass [Technically a Non-revenue space available ] on American Airlines following city's Frankfurt Germany, Zurich Switzerland, Paris France, London England, Brussels Netherlands. won't be free, it'll cost me around $400 each way. or about $800 round trip, for the nov-revenue service charges, but this is cheaper than buying a ticket...plus addition service charges after you arrive in USA to either Chicago (ORD) or New York New York JFK to continue to a city near a dropzone that will help you. I'm looking at few bigger dropzones Perris California, Z-hills / Deland Florida, and Eloy Arizona and Raeford North Carolina I figure that trip will cost ME about / around$1200 USA dollars Dan Glanz has offered to throw in $200 to help with your airfare to travel here. If we go to Raeford North Caroline DanG (Dan Glanz) has also offered to throw in some wind tunnel time to help you. I spoke with Jump shack about donating a used Rig set up for SOS for you, but Nancy LaRiviere was out of USA at the time. The woman I spoke with thought it was great idea, I need to follow up with her. / Jumpshack & but Nancy LaRiviere. Nancy set my gear up as SOS for me. Most drop zones I've called, their gear / rigs are not set up for SOS for arm amputee. I was hoping to get a container to set up for SOS then find a large docile main & reserve to fit it. Maybe someone will offer to donate a main / reserve?? Any one? Anna is 5'6" 120 lbs. (she gave me her measurments as: 54 kilograms 170 centimeters , 54 kilograms which is equal to 119 pounds , 170 centimeters which is equal to 5.58 feet or 5'6") so follow dropzone dot commers..?
