finally after 10 months of Gary's 182 sitting in the hangar, it's been sold or bought. saw someone checking it over last week, and today it's is gone.. going to Miss seeing Gary's 182 next to mine...

I was just thinking about Gary other day... my Cessna and his are in hangar side by side.... strange not seeing Gary around anymore.

my hangar is next to Gary's at KSET. I was flying last night out of Creve Coeur, 1H0 it too is now flooding. 6-10 inches of Water between all the hangars now. some running off was covering a bit of taxiway. finally good news is it's supposed to be dry rain free few days coming..

it happen right at exit to illinois Rt. 132 East....which takes you to 6 flags., the traffic always backed up there in the afternoon / evenings... They just finished changing exit from single lane to dual lane exit at that interchange. really nice & much improved.

Exploring idea of transferring to Miami Florida… Hate Chicago, and Illinois income taxes / road tolls etc. I’d be working at Miami Airport, midnights… So getting to work in evening shouldn’t be too bad… Don’t know much about south Florida….good areas, area to avoid, etc. It would just me moving, single and my cats. I’d like to find an Apartment with a garage… Anyone have an idea what Apartment housing cost are in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood area or? Other areas? Appreciate the input to have some data to work with.. Pro: no state income taxes… thanks... mike
