0 in 4500 tandem jumps. Totally agree with having the passenger sit back in the harness. You instructors with multiple passengers passing out need to change something!!!!

Yeah my shoulder was bugging me. Better now.....now my knee is starting to bother me. This job can be hard on the body. 4500 tandems 4400 of them were stand up landings. now my knee is paying for that. I'm only 28.

I'm a full time TI having incessant right shoulder pain. I'm only 28 but I've done over 5000 tandems I think it's my rotator cuff. I took a couple weeks off and it helped a little.

I'd like to hear from any other TI's out there that have had this issue? Did any thing help (I.e. a brace while working or Exercises). I'm not really able to take more time off.

I did 29 out of 182's. 22 of them were with hand-cam. Very nice paycheck that day!

the next few days I did 22tand/14hc, 10tand/5hc, 10tan/6hc....etc.... and then 25tand/15hc the next Saturday no days off for like 15 days.
I'm a work horse but that was the first time I was hoping for some bad weather days.

nice pay check though

the last dz I worked at didn't charge extra.
I was the only person willing to take people over
260lbs (fit men).
the jump was just not counted in the rotation so i would get an extra one later.

Last summer I worked a Tandem only DZ

tandem $40
Hand-cam $30
Pack $10
Avrg tip $10

best day was 29 jumps with 20 handcam

we need someone in June here at skydive Lake wanaka. we get $50 for tandem $65 for outside vid and $40 for hand-cam ($NZ). so its good.

I came here 4 months ago from the US. its been great. I've done 90 jumps in the last 6 days.
I can only speak for the drop zone that I've been working
at, though. every dz is different as far as pay and jump #'s.
the DZ i work for arranged all the paper work for me. Ive been here 4 months and i've done around 800 jumps. so i'm making really good money living in a kick ass town.

In fact we need another qualified T/I immediately if any body wants to come to NZ and have a full time year round bad ass job PM me.

anybody know if the velo flight and opening characteristics have changed much in the last decade. Say an 99' vs and 03' ???????

waycool glove with x.25 diamond lens and cam-eye. solid construction, easy use, fast delivery. all my videos are great.

anybody else have fuzzy edges with x.25???
these mixed opinions are confusing.

i'll either buy the cookie glove with x.3 liquid lens=us$360
or waycool glove w/ x.25black eye lens =us$435

is it worth the extra $$$ for the waycool setup???

i cant believe the amount of people who think that altitude doesnt effect distance. look at the freakin results!!!!!!!!! pilots who topped out at 370ft at sea level are now going 500ft at mile high. things go faster and farther in the thin air. less drag and resistance right????

really fucking annoying!!!!!! no matter how i adjust the harness or what shape of student i have, i almost always look daown after pening to see a chest strap crammed into my students throat. i have to loosen it and shove it down and out of the way. sometimes this doesnt work and i have them stand in my feet while i shorten the harness. what i pain in the ass.

i just got my TI rating. and would like to hear from anyone with advice on making your student feel satisfied with their skydive experience. they spend a lot of money and i want them to feel really good about it. i know its important to be friendly and sincere. anyone have tips for having more fun?? making them feel more relaxed?? cheesy gearing up and plane ride jokes?? plane ride conversations??

i'm certified but its been a while. wich tab on the wing side of a gti do you skip? i thought it was the 3rd but this suit has sharpy on the fourth. any quick info would be apprecciated
