No, the rich are good people to tax because you can without harming them.

If you increase taxes on someone who makes $40K a year - someone is going to go hungry.  That is real harm.

If you increase taxes on someone who makes $40M a year, and reduce taxes on someone who makes $40K a year - no one is harmed, and a lot more people eat.  The rich guy might only be able to buy one new yacht that year.  That isn't harm.

So of course increase the taxes on the rich that are dedicated to a fund that is allready increasing that will deffinatly help out the poor.

  2. I had to stop to get mom dinner. I also wanted to add the government is looking to get funding from any new tax they can pass. And the rich is easy pickens cause most people now think the rich should bail out the government that cant pass a balanced budget. California now wants to tax people and corporatins for leaving California and to continue the tax for 5 years.

How does the ATC and airport system get paid for?

Well from a quick google search. ATC gets it from excise taxes on airline tickets, Cargo and general aviation fuel. And the trust fund for that is growing so that must mean the taxes allready being charged are covering the expenses  so why raise them? The airport system has a verry expansive definition on where funding comes from. consider the different sources for millitary to your local drop zone. but nowhere did i see it comes from fuel taxes.

I pay $0.66.5 a gallon to run  my Subaru.  I fail to see why a bizjet's fuel should be taxed at 1/3 of that rate.

Well that $0.66.5 agallon you pay goes to build and repair the roads your Subaru drives on. Bizjet's dont use them.

Maybe start with pressuring your party to end its support for Child Marriages in various states:

Currently 41 states allow child marriages, with 20 states having no minimum age for child marriages with a parental or judicial waiver.

Keep in mind that in most of these states marriage is a defense against statutory rape.

The 10 states with the highest rates of child marriage:

    1. Nevada
    2. Idaho
    3. Arkansas
    4. Kentucky
    5. Oklahoma
    6. Wyoming
    7. Utah
    8. Alabama
    9. West Virginia
    10. Mississippi

Please tell me what my party is? You seem to ASSUME you know.

If it takes the risk or threat of 15 years in jail to not do crimes, maybe you don't have the proper perspective to consider crimes against children?

Yes, you could say that if you stoped reading after the first two sentences. sorry to dissapoint you but i dont want to find out what prison is really like.

So you think 15 years in jail is "not that big of a deal?"

You know different people than I do.

BTW how's that child sex trafficking investigation into Joel Greenberg and his partner Matt Gaetz going?  If child sex trafficking is that big a deal to republicans, surely Gaetz has been at least relieved of his committee assignments during the investigation.  Right?

I do think 15 years in jail is something i would not enjoy. Therefore is one reason I dont commit crimes that would land me in prison. Another reason I dont commit those crimes is I have morals. But I do know of some people that would rather be in prison then out . Theres some fucked up people out there.

as to your BTW I think anybody accused of a crime should be duly investigated and charged I dont care if there conservitives , progressives , Leftists , right wing , democrats , republicans , white , black , brown , What matters is the harm they have done to what should be a peacfull society. That is why my comment said "California politicions suck" I know the article linked blamed the democrats. But I blame both parties, cause they both just want to keep the other from accomplishing anything productive rather then comming together and working for greater good then thier ego's.

First off, your post is already out of date.

Second, it's already punishable by 15 to life (with any kind of aggravating factor such as coercion, which I would assume is almost always present). That sounds like a big deal to me. Do you want to volunteer to be locked up for 15 years just to show how easy it is?

First off I didnt know there was time limit on when you could comment on something here. Could you please post theese time limits so others could be aware of them?

Second trafficking minors SHOULD carry a huge punishmentfor that crime. do you want to volunteer to be  forced into slavery and posibly raped daily multiple times to see what theese people do to kids?

My parents fostered a couple of teenagers in the 1970's; one of them took driving lessons from my dad in their Pinto. He commented later on how great it was -- other kids had to pay for their driving lessons, and he learned for free! My dad commented "yeah, at the cost of a transmission." But Dad did admit it was his fault for using the Pinto instead of the (automatic) Plymouth.

    Wendy P.

Obviouslyit is different acording to location. But in the 70s you had to pay for driving lessons? in California we got them free in high school. of course i was driving for 2 years before that since i lived in the country then.

What about people like me who only "shifted" their religious affiliation.

As a child, I attended Anglican services every Sunday morning, then Sunday school at the United Church of Canada. At arm's length, I cannot see a difference between Anglican/Church of England/Episcopalian and the Holy Mother church of Rome (aka. Catholic). UCC has become marginally more liberal, but back during my childhood, the Anglican and United Churches sang from the same hymn book. Anglicans and United were main-stream Protestant or marginally conservative in my home town. Nowadays, UCC has become more liberal in an effort to attract a wider variety of parishioners, with lesbian ministers, same sex marriages, etc.

I did attend church during my twenties and thirties because I was too hung-over on Sunday mornings or too busy skydiving. As I approached age 50, I paid off my debts and decided that I no longer needed to work 8 days per week. The dear departed Larry Yon suggested that I attend the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Riverside, California. That suggestion stuck. Later I researched my family background to discover that some of my ancestors built the first Universalist Church in Canada (Huntingville, Quebec) back in 1845. So I have come full circle in my religious practices.

Not really related to your post, But damn I miss Larry. He was a good person.

No shit, you say? I’m guessing you aren’t aware from whence comes Lebanese Blonde hash. Back to Bonfire for you.

And your gueessing just shows how ignorant you are. While your lebanese blonde hash may come from flowers it is not flowers after being processed into hash just like heroin is not poppy flowers. And with the propper permits you can sell a lot of hash now also. But i gues you just have to flap your lips to feel important.

Smart immigrants know that the best way to avoid deportation is to stay out of the county jail. Hence the majority of immigrants quietly go to work, don't beat their wives, drive within the speed limit and avoid petty crime.

and some know to give a false identity and never show up in court. I have known 9 that have told me of doing that.

Well, we now know that conservatives consider 2 years old to be a little too late to get that first gun.

Well I bought my first gun at 12. I still have it a 30-30 Marlin bought with money earned standing on street corners selling flowers.
