Mariann: I remember how much shit you gave me for not taking it easy at JFTC and doing my other leg in by throwing my crutches down and dancing so hard with you on one leg. I remember hanging out with you and dancing at Nationals the year before... the four of us giving it all by the pool.... Always dancing, always smiling, never failing, never tiring. Always beautiful. No kidding, and boy (sorry, GIRL) can she skydive! To dispute an earlier post though, I think that if you asked any of the women on the top teams they would say that they wanted to be regarded as a competitive, skilled athlete (period) Not *pretty good for a girl* Women in this sport are faced with a certain set of challenges competing with and against men, but then so are men. Overcoming challenges to level the field is what competition is about isnt it? Matt you are such a Brainiac I agree with Rehmwa, I dont think it matters which of the two helmets (Z1 or Oxygen) you are wearing when you get your head bashed by your teammies knee/elbow/foot..etc. If there is enough force in the right place, your visor (and hopefully not too much else) is gonna get it. While I think that the visor comes off easier with an Oxygen, it does seem like Doug wont be doing a comparison anytime soon though! How are ya Rehm??
