I guess it depends on how you define "practical".

The Paraplane was the first square openly sold.

It flew way fast and had no flare to speak of. Para-Flite had a 2-3 foot "curtain" attached to the tail and tensioned by the shortened steering lines. Meh.

Jim Ballantine, a non jumping Chrysler engineer suggested to Steve Snyder to add 2 feet or so to the chord to get the performance they were lacking. Thus the Paraplane Cloud was born.

Their recall is a lot better than mine these days.

Does the entire suit stink or is it focused on areas like the grippers only?

I suspect the water based urethane coating on the grippers is breaking down and gassing off urea. It has a vomit-like smell.

I had to throw away a good tent a few years ago because of this.

I honestly thought that BLM was about ALL races coming together to demand racial equality for black people. Was there really a need to segregate black and white people for this rally? I personally don't think so because I have seen many whites, asians, latinos and middle eastern protestors at the front of these rallys and protests or just mixed in together.

Then you would have to call it "All Lives Matter".

We might need to repeat last Wednesday's sunset load where jumpers were handed beers by fit young women in Lululemon pants, but only bras on top.
All the half dozen women were licensed skydivers and I suspect that MC organized the welcoming committee. MC also grilled some mighty fine burgers.
However that commercial would be hell to film with plenty of "First positions" and "Take Twos" as the welcoming committee fell out of their bras, etc.
Delays would drive film crews insane!
The shock!
The horror!
The embarrassment?
The ultimate trauma would be inflicted on a small child seeing all those boobs running about!
I forecast unrealistic schedules, cost over-runs and waaaaaaay too much giggling!
.... and for what? ..... just to sell underwear?

I had another look and there is a "V5" written in marker inside the line stow pocket.

Which sounds quite Vector like, even though Vector II freebags (for example) had simplified sizes such as "Medium" I think.

I'm still guessing the bag might be from some early Vector I or Vector clone from the supposedly brief O-ring era-- perhaps before manufacturers were big on labelling all their parts in addition to the rig itself...

V5 makes it a RWS freebag.
