  1. It makes more sense to me to eject (or otherwise deal with) the person who is causing the disturbance. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  2. http://vividviews.com/hotlinks/news/WorldRecordTandem/D70_1459.jpg A few pics of the event here: http://vividviews.com/cat44.htm - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  3. Unfortunately for me the movie quit about 1/3 of the way through, however, what was actually said (what played for me) seems to me to be far less sinister than what you transcribed, Bill. I'd be interested in getting the entire clip if anyone has it. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  4. So are you going to pack up and move north? Perhaps there you could be a First class citizen. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  5. That's OK, this isn't a skydiving issue, it's a business issue. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  6. You're kidding, right? From the first URL you provided: This is line 5: Tandem Skydiving in Virginia- an easy drive from many places in Maryland, we serve Suburban Maryland / DC. This is from the left side near the top: Directions From Maryland: Finally, at the end of the page in a highlighted box: Skydive Orange, Inc. 11339 Bloomsbury Road Orange, VA 22960 Comparing this to Skyride is absurd. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. 7. You have balls. I like balls. . . . I love your balls! - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  8. Who is 'they'? Regardless, there's nothing wrong with preaching abstinence to our children first and birth control later. I'd rather that abstinence be the path in favor of "well, you're only 12, but when you do have sex (tomorrow) you should use a condom, or perhaps the pill, or perhaps . . . but if all those fail, there's always abortion" However, birth control isn't the root of the problem. The real issue here is why are people so eager to hop in the sack the moment they hit puberty, or in some cases even before. Better yet - Why is it "OK" today when it wasn't yesterday? That's probably a discussion more interesting than the path we're traveling now. Sheesh - what in the hell happened to this thread? Why aren't we discussing John G. Roberts? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  9. I support (barely, I think) a womans right to an abortion in the case of rape or non-consensual incest, but to promote abortion as simply another option for birth control is detestable. Why shouldn't people be forced to live with the conseequences of their actions? Because it's inconvenient? That's rubbish. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  10. I'll admit to it. Saw it in the theatre, bought it the day it came out, and now wonder if it's possible to wear out a DVD. That's a GREAT movie. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  11. Can you give us more information on this one? Sounds like the thought police to me. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  12. Even those who are British citizens? What about those who are on British soil legally and have committed no crime? If they have committed a crime in Britain then why not prosecute them on British soil? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  13. No difference? Are you serious? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  14. In a world where eveybody wants something for nothing, are you surprised? While each tower may generate 1.2M/y in revenue, what are the costs to build the tower, maintain the tower, maintain the other infrastructure, customer service, billing, etc . . . I'm sure that cell providers are profitable, but I have to wonder if they're really making money hand over fist. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  15. Years, even. My guess is that these folks have one, but I doubt they'll let you play with it. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  16. Because the IRS isn't the INS. Not all arms of the government work together or even have an obligation to do so. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  17. All of a different nationality. There are, if I recall correctly, three races and mexican isn't one of them. Regardless, I didn't see this as about race, but rather as about illegals on US soil. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  22. So then you did have a manual, your boyfriend. Look, both the Neptune and the Protrack are excellent products backed by top-notch companies, but when it comes to ease of use and an intuitive interface, the Neptune has the Protrack beat, hands down. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends.
