  1. And here we are back to the liberal circle jerk... none of this will ever happen or come to fruition. Trump will win by a landslide in 2020 because dems couldn't get over the 2016 loss...
  2. Grahams apart of "the Swamp", he is a follower and goes which ever way the wind blows. I tend to not hold double standards...
  3. Lindsey Graham is a goof and I do not agree with this. Impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors, not when a political party disagrees with a rightfully elected official. That goes for both parties...
  4. The Trump call transcript indicates that Trump asked for assistance with an ongoing DOJ investigation, which, Andrew McCarthy rightly said, is not a violation of the law. There is a treaty between the U.S. and the Ukraine that was signed by President Bill Clinton that is entitled the Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters. That treaty binds the respective countries to provide "documents, records and other items" to each other upon request. The Trump call transcript does NOT indicate Trump withheld aid in exchange for election help against Biden. There was no quid pro quo. The Democrats sold a false story. They have been crying wolf since Nov. 2016. This is a dangerous precedent to set for future presidents.
  5. The DT call transcript also indicates that the current Ukraine government is more than troubled about the Bidens' actions and on their own is continuing to investigate that activity. In addition to that, the President of Ukraine continues to say there was no pressure from Trump. Also, the OBAMA administration pressured Ukraine’s prosecutors to drop the investigation into the BH gas company that employed Hunter Biden and to look for new evidence in a then dormant criminal case against Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. The Obama White House and DNC DIRECTLY solicited Ukrainian officials to get involved in the 2016 campaign by asking for dirt on Manafort and by asking Ukrainian President to speak on U.S. soil negatively about Paul Manafort. That is far worse than what the Democrat accuse Trump to have done... In short, the D.C. Democrats want to impeach Trump for activities that pale in comparison to what people in their party has been doing for years.
  6. For the Democrats, this has never been about getting to the truth or about serving their constituents, all this is about for them is power and an inexplicable hatred and rage towards DT. Joe Biden has acknowledged on camera that, when he was vice president, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the natural gas firm Burisma Holding where Biden's son Hunter had a highly lucrative role on the board... Everyone can speculate what DT "meant" with his phone call, but when you get down to it, there was no quid pro quo... Biden is the one who actually extorted a foreign nation by withholding US support.
  7. The level of hypocrisy coming from 90% of people posting on here is insane. It's like a liberal circle jerk.
  8. I have a rig coming with measurements EGFE. Going off this chart everything seems to be about right for me... one thing I did have a question about was that the chest strap length was "G" , but according to this chart only A&B exist (unless I'm reading it wrong). Does G just mean a super long chest strap?
  9. It's going to be impossible to get 250K kids to move out of their parents basement...
  10. Like SkyBytch said... If you learn something, then the jump was not a failure. My first AFF jump my instructor had to pull for me because I could not get stable. It takes time, but you will get it as long as you don't give up. In my experience, I went to the wind tunnel for 30 minutes w/coaching and was able to iron out my stability issues for AFF. Welcome to the sky!
  11. Good weather is just around the corner. I broke my arm a few weeks back after having a hard landing. I'm already going stir crazy and it's only been 3 weeks...
  12. I'm relatively new to DZ.com, but since I have joined I regularly use the site and enjoy it. I'm finding that this site has endless amounts of useful information and even more stuff that's pure entertainment (such as the speaker section with BillVon's endless rants lol).... and yes I know FB has skydiving pages that draw membership away from DZ.com, but the pure amount of data on here is unmatched. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
  13. Welcome Bobby! I'm pretty new also. I just received my A license last month. I'm no expert by any means, but I had a similar problem with my first few AFF jumps. Do you have a wind tunnel near by? I spent 30 min in the tunnel after AFF level 3 and after that I had no problem with staying stable and on heading. Does your AFF instructor video the jumps? Post reviews of each jump with my instructor also helped me improve my body position. Overall, just keep jumping and don't get discouraged. The more you jump everything just starts to "click". Just my two cents.... Blue Skies
  14. Thanks to everyone who has responded. I had previously spoken to our rigger and they seemed pretty vague on their advice. Pretty much just something at 1:1 that is cheap, but has no holes. I made 3 jumps this weekend with a Pilot 210 and it seemed like a good choice as well. I guess I have a lot of choices as long as I keep my WL at 1:1 or less.
  15. Looking for some advice on what type of canopy to purchase for my first rig. I just completed my A license. I have 22 jumps on a Sabre 2 210 and 3 jumps on a Volt 185. My exit weight is 190lbs. I'm looking for a canopy around the 210-190 range and have been leaning towards a Sabre 2, but those are higher on the price range. I was looking for more input on if there is a specific canopy that experience jumpers would recommend to a newly licensed jumper to progress on. Any input is appreciated! -Jacob
  16. Welcome! I'm new also. You are so right... TONS still to learn and I'm looking forward to it.
  17. Can confirm as this is my home DZ. Most all the loads go to 17.5K.

    Skydive35

This drop zone has been amazing since the first time I went. I did my tandems through AFF at skydive35. The staff is great. They have a strong focus on safety and continuing education. Sam was a insanely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable during AFF. After AFF, the DZ has many coaches to help you further lay down good habits as you work towards your A license and even after. This place has a good consistent group of fun jumpers every week that are very friendly and eager to help as well. Can't say enough about the great experience I have had at Skydive35 over this past year. I'm honored to call this place my home DZ.
  19. That's what I'm figuring out... just lets me cherish those beautiful days even more. We had some beautiful weather this week and I was able to pass my A license check dive.
  20. Hi everyone, Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I made my first tandem back in May and have been HOOKED ever since. Recently, I finished AFF in September and currently have 14 jumps as of last Saturday. Each jump keeps being better than the last! I can't even begin to explain how skydiving consumes my (almost) every thought. My home DZ is Skydive35 in Hillsboro, TX (just south of Dallas). Weather delays have been disappointing in the last two months, but I have been hanging in there. Hope to get some good jumps in this weekend! I look forward to any advice that ya'll may have... -Jacob
