  1. Many thanks, Just wanted a validation that it was an OK product and easy to use etc. and too true......use at the right time, right place and right amount!
  2. Anyone used this in the skydive environment and have any views on it? Also, any idea on version/price needed Many thanks
  3. Hi there, I have a Mirage G3, which is sized for 150-135. I had a Sabre1 150 in it, but I am planning on putting a Spectre 135 in its place. I've heard that the spectre has a smaler pack volume, size for size than a 9 cell, so could this leave me with a sloppy container? Many thanks
  4. lil guy should be given honary membership to VKB for that proximity!
  5. Ref. a post DW made on Blink Does anyone know if this would have included anything over and above what we see on current canopy technology (post form 2003)? Listen to DA MAN
  6. Hi I recently changed laptops and my new one doesn't have built in Firewire. So I bought a combi IEEE1394 / USB PC card I am only pulling the video in through Movie Maker but when I plug my HC40 in it cant find the camera. I do however get DVin appear on the cam screen while it is pluggged in. Is this correct or should it be saying DVout? Many thanks
  7. Yes, don't worry about it. Just do your exit drills as your AFF instructors show you and don't think it is more complicated than it is. If you are in control in the tunnel then you will sail through the free-fall part of AFF (don't forget that there are other life saving things to learn that you can practice in the tunnel) On exit, just relax, hold your position and enjoy.
  8. Hey, how did Nigel manage to duck his head behind the TV screen
  9. Half a block past WM and just before you reach the intersection of WO and WP? I meant WisconsiN, I dunno if I got the Abbreiviation correct?
  10. Good news for me, I go a new job that is involves me travelling to some some of our partner companies in the States, YAY! Anyone help me find the nearest DZ's to Ramsey MN and Stratford WN? (I tried the DZ Locator but can't seem to get any results from it) Cheers
  11. Oh My is it that time of year again! If you don't make the grade for the Felix-mobile, you can join me on my European tour. It will be a little less Glam and you don't require any BASE or Cinematographic skills, just a Penchant for Fat birds.
  12. ....well foot feet Is this a follow up to the Tunnel Twister Count me out
  13. That was the first time I saw Cathy without her ear to ear tunnel grin on. Boy she was concentrating! I noticed some of the rigs had DRCP, are you going to be doing TAFF?
  14. http://www.bodyflight.co.uk/ The tunnel is completely awesome (Iv'e just spent 2 1/2+ in it). I think that the individual bedrooms on the site itself are still under contruction? although the bunk rooms (10 to room) are cheap, warm and functional. There is a Travelodge http://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/hotel/hotel_id/273/Bedford 5 mins drive away, as is Bedford train station, and the taxi ride is only a few Pounds. There are several pubs nearby to eat or drink in, again a short taxi ride away (the Tunnel is on an old military research site and is half a mile into the middle of nowhere on its own little road) The staff at the tunnel are all very helpfull and cool, give them a ring and they will tell you all you need to know. Here's some juicy footage from the tunnel http://161.58.164.50/tv/FabianBB.mov
