  5. JJG78-- Keep in mind that the Daily DB Cooper Bite doesn't afford me the opportunity to make much of a case for Sheridan. That said, I have a 137-page report called DB Cooper: The Definitive Investigation of Sheridan Peterson that goes into much more detail. If you send me an email to [email protected] I'll send you a PDF copy, for free of course. My plan is to feature a suspect every week or so. I should be clear that I think Sheridan is "likely" DB Cooper. Thus far, I have been unable to prove it. In essence, the FBI and I are in the same boat.
  6. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss prime suspect Sheridan Peterson on what is his 93rd birthday. Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/DBCooperChannel
  7. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss DBC's decision to skyjack a jet in the Pacific Northwest. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DBCooperChannel
  8. These are precisely the thoughts I expressed in my Daily DB Cooper Bite today. I assume he owned a rig. I assume this because I'm convinced he was an experienced skydiver. Ultimately I surmise that he went with a rig supplied by the authorities for at least one of two reasons: 1) He traveled into the country, therefore, hauling the rig with him was somewhat problematic--remember, he has to travel back home after the skyjacking is over. 2) He planned to discard the rig upon landing. I see no value in him landing and fleeing the area with the rig. By definition, this means the rig is still out there yet to be discovered. I believe this also hints to a couple of other things that I discuss in the Daily DB Cooper Bite.
  9. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss DBC's decision to ask the authorities for parachutes versus using his own equipment. Visit the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/DBCooperChannel
  10. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I ponder DBC's decision to purchase his ticket to Seattle immediately before the flight. Also, I just established a Facebook page for the DB Cooper Channel. It can be viewed at: https://www.facebook.com/DBCooperChannel Please feel free to visit the page, "like" it, and share it.
  11. It's exactly the same. The picture with the placard being held shows the placard slightly curved which causes a little shadowing. Plus the picture is shot more from an angle. In addition, the close-up of the placard affixed to the background is also slightly warped given the closeness of the placard to the camera. All of that said, it is precisely the same. Unreal.
  12. The placard looks precisely the same. With the person holding the placard it enables the right side to sag down which more fully displays the tear. With the placard affixed to the backing it cannot sag and the full length of the tear is not completely visible.
  13. The comment about airliners crashing into each other all the time is also a false equivalency. The issue is not whether SAGE or any other radar can plot an aircraft in relation to other aircraft in real time. Rather, the issue is reconstructing the plot points and radar data days later.
  14. Your math is incorrect. 18 feet per second means it takes him 555 seconds to drop from 10K to sea level. In the same time he drifts 4.6 SM. That puts his crosswind component at 29.8 MPH. Depending upon where he would have landed in that area the elevation is about 300 feet. Moreover, the data suggests a wind speed of approx 32 KTS at 10K.
  15. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss life in America during the time of the skyjacking.
  16. Indeed, my only purpose for going to the placard find spot relates to conducting research. I do not believe there is any evidence to be found there. My plan is to be there no longer than an hour. A significant part of my overall DB Cooper investigation rests upon my belief that Cooper actually jumped and landed near Tena Bar. With that in mind, I believe the placard find may provide some clarity with respect to the flight path--albeit 41 years after it was found. Essentially I'm conducting the analysis of the placard find that apparently the FBI didn't conduct. This involves a free-fall analysis of the placard that I asked R99 to conduct. It also involves analyzing the ability of the placard to migrate once on the forest floor. Therefore, I shall visit the spot shortly and begin my analysis.
  17. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I talk about how the FBI dropped the ball while investigating DBC.
  18. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss the role of citizen sleuths in the case.
  19. I absolutely disagree. Cooper would not have the case sitting in the chair on the aisle for two primary reasons. First, Flo and Tina used the seat. Second, the case is susceptible to being neutralized by someone in the aisle. The smart option for Cooper was the window seat to his right.
  20. Again, the case resting in the seat to the right of DBC necessitates him using his right hand. DBC walking to the lavatory holding the case in his left hand may be suggestive of favoring his right hand, but this is entirely predicated upon the entire motion of him sliding out of his seat, standing and moving toward the back. In other words, if the right hand was in the case at the beginning of this procedure, it is likely to stay in the case thereby not indicating anything other than that which was practical. The case in a completely neutral position sitting upon his lap invites his natural tendencies to display themselves. The fact that the left hand was observed by Bill Mitchell as discussed in his contemporaneous 302 is notable.
  21. Daily DB Cooper Bite. I discuss analyzing suspects.
  22. FLY, you challenged my assertions in the Daily DB Cooper Bite and I provided a substantive list of questions. Your response to these questions was nothing by mindless rhetoric and platitudes. There is nothing of substance in your answer. I challenge you to point out any substance in your response. Oh, the 8:12 turn east--which apparently was sudden and intended to bring the jet down center line V23--didn't even happen according to the 1972 FBI Map.
  23. As I stated in the Daily DB Cooper Bite, we have to challenge assumptions in this case if we expect to discover something new after 47 years. Where is the sudden turn to the east on the FBI flight path? How do you explain that each of the three flight path maps (December 1971 version, 1972 version, and Yellow FBI Flight Path version) are all different? How do you explain the money find in relation to the FBI flight paths? How do you explain the placard find in relation to the FBI flight paths? Are you aware that the SAGE link in the fighters was not operational that night, therefore, the fighters couldn't automatically fly to the target? How is it that the fighters were following behind 305, witnessed a phantom turn east, yet were having a problem following 305 and had to break off the pursuit because 305 was only travelling at 200 MPH? Why would an F-106 be incapable of flying at 200 MPH? Why are portions of the radio transcripts concerning Seattle Center redacted? Is it possible that an explanation for the redacted information may relate to an inoperable SAGE system on that night and that, for matters related to national security, this information was not disclosed publicly? Why did Major Dawson, the guy responsible for coordinating the chase plane effort at McChord say the jet flew in a straight line from Toledo to the western suburbs of Portland? Why has nothing been found? My point is this: By people swallowing and not questioning the Palmer Report for 25-years the truth of the matter became impossible to discover. Why? Because according to Palmer the money had to arrive on Tena Bar after the August 1974 dredge, and according to Palmer, probably arrived around 1979. Well, guess what, Palmer was wrong? The expert made a mistake as proven by Tom Kaye and the Cooper Research Team in 2008. This one mistake ended up being huge and completely changed the nature of the investigation. Are you here to tell me that you are absolutely certain that the FBI Flight Path isn't Palmer Report 2.0? That it is not possible for the FBI Flight Path to be off by 8 or 9 miles?
  24. Daily DB Cooper Bite...I talk about how we can solve the mystery.
  25. What exactly does any of this have to do with me?
