  1. thought you were talking about a Peugeot 206 for a sec there...
  2. yeah what Bri said! You are all great. Especially Willy...I would start singing again but he might hit me...or buy me more beer...Cracking job mate! Once again my favourite competition of the year with some awesome skydiving on show. See you again next year! Big shame about Hayabusa and NMPV...I could be available if needed...Gimme a call lads And whatever anyone else says...I didn't do it...It's not on video. You can't prove it. Guy Escondido and Brian is rubbish...its escondido.moonfruit.com
  3. i'm with you Zenister...! I jump in contacts cos you have bu**er all peripheral vision with glasses! How am i gonna see where those pesky team mates are?!
  4. yeah true...hopefully there won't be a load of ringer teams taking the pee and just going for medals tho!
  5. I think pretty safe to say its gonna be a rockin' nationals this year!! Sure we can think of a way to keep those Dorniers busy! See you all there! Guy Team Escondido
  6. I've also been jumping a ZP.EXE for about 200 jumps. I have a 170 loaded at about 1:1 and I am happy with it. My only comment would be it glides a bit steeper than the Sabre's my team mates jump (can't comment on a Sabre2) but give it a bit of rear risers and it has got me back from a lot of deep spots!
  7. I have a EXE170. I have no problems with. Have done about 50 jumps on it and its really nice. Opens well...snivels a bit but thats prob my packing...on heading openings. No twists. Flys welland lands well. Packs really easily too.
  8. I managed a whole 4 points on mine! And a very nice 4 points they were too! Strange thing was I tried 3 or 4 attemps with my WARP coach and 2 AFF instructors and had only managed 2 or 3 points if that...give it a rest for a bit and did some fun jumps...then had another go with some mates who had 1-200 jumps each and someone filming. Got my 4 points! Found it loads easier with people I jumped a bit with before...maybe that and not as much pressure i suppose...was good fun watching the video tho!
  9. Hey I have just bought the Crosswind DVD from The Kit Store in the UK. Its run by the guy who does the Symbiosis Suits Rob Colpus. email him at [[email protected]] Happy watching! G
  10. I found packing a bit tricky to start with until a nice packer who had 5 mins to spare explained exactly what each bit of the canopy did and why it was packed in a certain way...for example quartering the slider to make sure the air hits that first and slow up the opening...as soon as I could understand why it was done like that I found it a million times easier... That oh and practise! Keep trying you'll get it.
  11. I started out with a second hand fs suit that kinda fitted me quite well but not brilliantly. I've just got a new Symbi Lopo suit. Its beautiful. Well made...well fitting...and has improved my control no end...I didn't realise how much difference a suit made for me would make. In fact I'd go so far as to say I am not really sure how I managed to control myself before! Go get one now!
  12. Bit belated I know but I am moving to the Oulton Broad area in the next few weeks... Was hoping to check out Old Buck airfield to see what thats like...I like the sound of an hour rather than over 2! It'll be cool to hook up for a beer and a jump!
  13. Hmm yeah good point... Uhh medical and gear would be suitable methinks.
  14. Hi Guys & Gals Being a relative novice to the fast and furious world of jumping from perfectly good planes for fun I suppose I ought to sort some proper insurance for my trip to Elsinore this easter!
