  7. well i am one of the injured jumpers son. i know its not a good thing to release the names and injuries but they are already released so i will go ahead and post what my father and i know as of now. my father Stu Goodall(the jumpmasterof the jump will post the actual incident report when it is put out.) suffered 2 broken bones in his ankle and 2 breaks in his lower leg. Tony dill suffered some pulled muscles in his back and a broken bone in his hand. Jesse Peterson suffered a cut above his eye and has been given stitches. And Leonard Keiser is the one who was medevaced and they did a CAT scan on him and everything came back positive. That is all i know right now and like i said above when the incident report is put out there will be a post on this website.
  8. my hundredth and i know this one is a bit late but i figured id throw my 2 cents in anyways but me and some others tried a formation cessna 182 jump. we got 8 of us to do it and we went out and the base went to crap and i happened to be in the base needless to say we broke the base and everyone backslid when they saw my p.c. come out and got around my chest(apparently happened while the base was rolling around) but took me a couple seconds and then i cleared it and and so i had a nice ride down from about 8 grand but i also had my dad flying his canopy around with me and of course u know what happened when i hit the ground i got the 2ND PIEING that ive received(first one on my first jump) but it was an experience i wont forget and i hope u dont forget yours. later blue skies and safe landings
  9. hey i have been hearing some words going around about Rook Nelson(i believe it was Rook). The thing i have heard that he has jumped and successfully landed a 27 ft^2 canopy. Now thsi si something i have heard and am not sure if it is true or not and i was wondering if anyone out there knew if it has really happened. i would appreciate it if someone can tell me. i know the canopy has been flown before but not landed. well thanks later blue skies and safe landings
  10. yes i do have 110 jumps and i have jumped a sabre 2 adn it is a great canopy but i also have a couple jumps on the stiletto that i will be recieving. I will be getting the stiletto from my father who has just under 2000 jumps and is a tandem master adn aff instructor. i have been around the sport my whole life, i was that little kid running around the dropzone trying to help pack parachutes. So with that being said i have heard many of the stories and seen the accidents happen under small canopies. I am also not the kind of person who is in to hookin it in to get the great surf at the bottom end, to me that is personally askin for a death wish. i enjoy flying the canopy up high. well i appreciate the help you guys have given and the thoughts on safety, i appreciate it very much and i dont know another sport that i participate in that i would see that concern for the safety of others. that is one of the things i love about skydiving. thanks again and have fun skydivin and be safe blue skies and soft landings
  11. hey all you skydivers out there i was wondering if any of you could help me wiht a price on a main. I currently have a conquest 150, it has a little over a thousand jumps(not really sure on specific number but know its a lil over a thousand). i got it as my first canopy and i love it but im gonna be getting a stiletto 135 pretty soon. YEA!!!! But back to the conquest, its in great condition and flys great, the warning label on it though is worn to the point that you cant read it and thats the way it was when i bought it. Ive put about 60 jumps on it. If any one can help me out wiht an approximate price range for this canopy i would greatly appreciate it and i do have pics if u want me to email them to you just ask. thanks blue skies and safe landings
  12. on my 2nd attempt at a 2-stack my partner that iwas flying with(just happened to be my dad) ended up wrapped up in my canopy and i had my initial cutaway but other than that i have had a great time doin crw ive prob got 3-5 2-stacks adn quite a few just goin up to altitude and flyin around with a guy flying his 33ft X 60ft american flag(one of the most beautiful flags ive ever seen, specially at sunset)
  13. one and that was on my 75th jump i now have 110 but i was attempting CRW with my dad and we had one successful dock before then and this one of all ones didnt go as planned my dad ended up with my canopy all around him and i ended up choppin it at about 6 grand had a mal on my reserve where i had to fly with one toggle down to about my shoulder maybe a bit lower but that was an experience and i was told by my mom that i would be doin no more CRW(only cuase she decided to come and watch thsi one jump) but i now have 3-5 successful CRW docks and plan on doin alot more fly fast, have fun, and be safe!!!!!!
