NO actually this is not the same group that jumped into the rockingham nascar race. that would be the usasoc black daggers that did that and they are a seperate team from the green berets

ok this is how i put my first rig together. i traded a velocity freefly helmet for an '83 vector w/ reserve borrowed 200 dollars from my dad to buy a used cypress. paid 300 dollars for a conquest 150 main. that was my starter rig which i got a great deal on and now that rig only has a main and im in the process of looking for another reserve so it can be jumpable again.

lets just say i got the hook up my dad is an instructor and he paid for all the training and loaned me about 200 dollars for my first rig and i paid for everything else with packing money.

ive got a vector made in july of '83 just need to get another serve for it and itll be my back up rig. i also have a '96 dolphin that i jump all the time got an unbelievable deal on both of them so i aint complaining.

just turned 18 a couple months ago and i have a little over 250 jumps with 160 of them being from january to last sunday. I picked up the pace alot this year to try and make the 200 before they raised the jump number and i just never slowed down. i would jump even more but my mom hates it that i jump this much and put all my money into skydiving(almost have 2 complete rigs, 5 jumpsuits, 4 different helmets, and soon to have a camera setup) all i can say is that she better be thankful that im still passing all my classes in school

i will be out there but only to pack cause im not in the military so i dont get free jumps but hey look me up if ya need a pack job or two. The names Greg and im a rather young looking guy seeings how im only 18 but ill prob be hangin out with some of the usasoc demo team guys(stu goodall, johnny mulford, and a couple other guys) see ya all out there

here is a link to the chart that is enforced at my dz and as far as kai2k1 sayin "If they want everyone jumping manta 288's thats their decision." That is by far the case and of course im pretty sure you were being sarcastic but i jump a stiletto 135 my dad jumps a stiletto 107 adn we have a velocity 111 adn we also have a alpha 94 at our dz just as long as they are in accordance with teh chart. http://skydivecoastalcarolinas.com/wing%20loading.htm there is the chart that we go by and it has run pretty smoothly with that chart except for when it was first being enforced other than that we have had no problem with people abiding by that and if they cant jump their canopy other jumpers will more than likely let them borrow a rig for no charge adn if the person chooses to use a student rig i believe the charge is 15 to 25 dollars

the dropzone that i jump at has a wingloading chart that they abide by. They will not let you jump if you exceed your wingloading for your amount of jumps. They have told people that they can not jump because of their wingloading and we lost a couple of our jumpers when they first started to enforce the chart. We have also had some visitors show up and they did not fall into their category because their wingload was too high but we offered them another canopy to jump and we went on and had some fun jumps. As long as the people that are in charge go about dealing with it in a professional and polite manner there shouldnt be that big of a deal and i know that I personally wouldnt have a problem with it because they are showing that they care and dont want to see me get hurt. But as far as me being told that i cant jump cuase i have to small of a canopy has never been a problem with me.

im just starting to get into freeflying and this weekend i got a sit and held thoughout the whole jump and was able to do a 360 to watch my friend in a hd come within 5 feet of me it was great now all i wanna do is go up and freefly and start gettin docks and all that other good stuff

i got nicknamed "shoe" on my 17th jump cause i just happened to lose my shoe in freefall and everyone called me that for a little while but it kinda wore off

ok if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it. i am having a class ring made and my dad knows someone who will put whatever i want on one side of it the only problem is he needs a picture of like a piece of jewelry so he can make the mold adn what ive been looking for is a canopy with a person under it and i cant find anything can someone please help thanks

i got one in and it was a demo for my friends b-day party adn i must say it was a fun one but that is all i got in this week but i did do 4 jumps last thursday for half price that was pretty sweet

i dont jump at raeford but live 30 mins from there in fayetteville and it didnt hit that bad as far as im concerned we had gusts up to 50 mph here but it stayed down about 30 mph on average all day so it wasnt that bad but where i jump down on the coast at skydive coastal carolinas might be kinda bad but i wont find out til tmr when i go down there

jump #75 my dad and i were gonna do CRW my second attempt at it and he had had quite a few CRW jumps but when he came in to pin me he went below me then being stupid he grabbed rear risers and tried to pop up behind me but instead went in front of me and through my canopy at 6000 feet and we wrapped i cut away and he landed with my canopy wrapped around him and to top that i was jumping borrowed gear and i had to hold the toggle on one side down about shoulder level the flare was a little bit funky but i still stood up the landing

my 18th birthday is a week away on the 23rd and that will mark 2 yrs since i started jumping and i can definately say its been a great 2 yrs and also with turning 18 i can jump when i go to my biological fathers house now since the dz there wouldnt let me jump til i turned 18 well im just about there so ill be there soon

on sept 23 which is less than 2 wks away it will be 2 yrs for me and they have been 2 years filled with great times and memories prob the one that sticks out the most in my mind right now is my dads first jump back after his injury

majority of my 214 jumps have been from a c-182 i think i only have 25 if that jumps from other planes(otter, casa, adn king air) and i enjoy doin 182 jumps its a long ride to alti but you got time to think bout the jump and what your gonna do
