  1. as long as there's no requirement to sing that annoying but strangely catchy theme song!! Error reading from device Brain - (A)bort, (R)etry, (G)et a coffee?
  2. Two Towers came out in Oz on 26/12, have seen it twice and would love to go again ASAP...bloody brilliant!! I've been a fan of the books for near on 20 years (and before anyone cracks old fart jokes, my dad made me read the book when I was ten so ), I have to say that Peter Jackson ROCKS, he's done an absolutely wonderful job, and I need to find myself an elven warrior, yummo!! Packing Aid

Up until yesterday I owned a packboy, otherwise known as a power tool, which someone (?) borrowed and have yet to return to me. In the meantime, I would really like to find some more, at a reasonable AUD price....help!! Thanks
  9. The only thing with that is that I was told from day one by the CI not to roll the nose....obviously its a personal preference thing but I don't really wanna piss the CI off...he sends a lot of the new jumpers to me for tuition.... :)
  10. I pro pack it exactly the same way I packed the 190, but with the added step of rolling the slider into the tail...I also pack for a lot of other jumpers with sabres the same way, various sizes and haven't had any complaints....unless they're all too polite... >:)
  11. Does anyone else have a Sabre 170 that repeatedly spanks them on opening? and what have you done to fix it... My finance previously had a Sabre 190 that on occasion I could get to snivel for 1500ft (me packer, no jumper) but now on the 170 its smack smack smack. We know another jumper that has a Sabre that used to open hard but after getting a new slider has had no problems since. We've tried talking to the local dealer and they're fairly convinced its the packing technique!!

    girlfriends

Coming from an "almost-wuffo" female point of view (ie I've done three tandems) I think that the skydiving community has the best way of life, and rather than resist I embraced it and really look forward to my weekends. So much so that I'm a Packer B with a rep for nice openings. What better way to get over a shitty week at work supporting a heap of dumb-ass pc users than by travelling to different DZs, sitting around in the sun, packing a rig or 20 and getting in on beer-o'clock...and the bonus? a week of massage because my poor "packing muscles" worked hard! Anyone that resists that way of life is just plain nuts!!! >:) Blue skies Jules
