so yesterday, I completed my final race of the year...an olympic distance tri called "The Nations Tri" It was a bit rough since my trng has been downhill moving to DC and starting school.. but all in all not bad.. shaved 3 min off my time from the last olympic distance ran it in 2hrs 56min here one pic

...like many of you may be thinking... i've just fallen into the dark depths of a govt grad school... and damn are they tough so its been a while since i've been on dzcom or to the dz for that matter... BUT thanks to Jennr8r, I should be out at the dz tomorrow...but that may be my last day for a long while

thanks guys... i'm a little intimidated by all the talk the school has been givin us.. they basically tell us this is really hard and then they stress us out about the damn thesis every second... hopefully actually sittin through my first class this afternoon will ease my mind up a little bit... i'm sure its not as intimidating as the syllabus' make it sound

so today is officially the first day of class for me.. grad school.. what the hell was I thinkin? somehow i just know this is gonna be a rough year... 3 hr long classes every day..yay... well it was nice talkin to everyone... if you dont hear from me for a while.. you know where i'll be.. reading or writing but at least I can count on you guys for a well needed study break

well.. i'm trained to spray others and train them too, the coast guard way is to spray you, then make you fight for a minute ie kick and punch at someone holding a punching bag, while holding your eyes open, then draw a fake weapon down on them.. then when the trainer (me) says break then you can rinse your eyes.. and yeah.. you're crazy.. i wouldnt do it again if someone paid me
