Get ready to 'Rock Out With Your Flock Out'....the 3rd annual Wing Ding Boogie is on like Donkey Kong! ‘Skydive Monroe’, in Monroe, Georgia, will once again play host to ‘Wing Ding 2013’ on September 13-15th. ‘Wing Ding’ is a wingsuit-focused event, but invites all members of the skydiving community to join us for some skydiving fun in the beautiful weather of Georgia’s blue skies. Wingsuit, RW, Freefly, or all of the above...we are ready to fly with you. Skydive Monroe will be running multiple planes in order to keep loads turning and get you to altitude in quick fashion. If you haven't taken a ride to altitude on their new King Air, hold on! A huge hangar, covered packing areas, tent camping, bathrooms with hot showers and party decks make Skydive Monroe a great place to spend the weekend. Jeremy Tyer will be on hand to teach a wingsuit First Flight Course for anyone who is interested in trying their hand at wingsuit flight. The cost of the FFC is only $125 (event registration separate), which includes all course instruction, jump slots for both instructor and yourself, coach video debrief, and wingsuit gear rental, if needed. Jeremy will also be available for coaching jumps to assist current wingsuit pilots with honing their flying skills. Wingsuiters will be keeping busy with both an artistic, as well as a time/speed/distance competition to compete in. Wingsuit pilots will also make an attempt at the Georgia state record for wingsuit formation flying. For first time jumpers, Skydive Monroe will be offering amazing tandem skydive specials all weekend. For experienced jumpers, no matter the discipline, we have you covered, with organized RW jumps for every skill level, as well as load organizing for Freefly and Wingsuit all weekend long. Building formations, head down or flocking, come and get your jump on. We will have awesome food and beverage available onsite each day, including a blowout homestyle BBQ roast. Every night, once the beer light goes on, the libations will flow freely around the bonfire or join the fun on one of the party decks. And yes, David's fire extinguisher of liquid love, as well as the jello shot girls will be making their usual appearance.   4. We are proud to announce that Wing Ding is back for another exciting weekend of flocking over Georgia's beautiful blue skies. Grab your gear and some friends and shack up in Monroe, GA with us for an exciting 3 days of flying from a super-fast King Air and a colossal CASA! Also, the main common area of the hanger can be used to throw down a air mattress. But, hey, this is 'Wing Ding', who has time to sleep?!

"a nice even flare"....yeah if that's what you want...but that is way too basic for the joe-ster. actually, he has been working on that landing for several months now. he rises with the morning sun just to practice tirelessly. IMHO, it was a perfectly executed toe dig front flip with a half gainer. and as far as the "reaching" bit, the camera doesn't show the guy just to the side of the pond holding out a Bud Lite, a fav beverage of the man in question. imagine that, trying to pull off that landing and still enjoy his beer along the way, balls man, big balls. there, i got your back joe, now represent!
