  1. Honestly, I'm asking myself that as well, because the Sabre2 was really fun to fly, and the landing was the best of any canopy that I've jumped. On the flip side, I have 72 military jumps and I miss it that thrill (minus the heavy combat load/equipment). I chose the Silhouette because I had back surgery and knew that the Sabre2 may have me seeking that high level canopy (after time, no rush right now) to move to a more advanced canopy. I'm hoping the Silhouette would be a fun, but conservative canopy just to keep me happy for 100-200 jumps in a good safe zone with a 1.05:1 WL. I hope that makes sense. #RLTW #AATW
  2. Hey Ramplit, First let me get the obvious information out there...I have the 60 skydive jumps, and 72 military T-10 jumps. My exit weight at 220lbs, and I've jumped the Nav 260, 240, 220 and the Sabre2 210. I loved the Sabre2 210; and have all standup landings on it, but bought a Silhouette 210 (DOM 2008) and will WL it at 1.05:1. I've heard that jumping the Silhouette heavier than 1:1 isn't a good idea, even though I'd be loading it slightly heavier at 1.05:1. I'm having it set up by my rigger now. I'm going to pull high to get a feel for the canopy flying and flaring characteristics. Do you have any feedback from your Silhouette experience? Thanks!
  3. Hey Atalitude, I received my Pro-Fly jump suit, and I love it. It's lite weight, non-bulky to pack and very breathable on hot days. I'm 6'1/6'2 and weigh 190/195. I bout the XL, but honestly could have gone with the XXL. I say that ONLY because it's snug in the chest area. With that being said, the material can stretch a some to fit more comfortably. I'm considering buying another Pro-Fly in a different color. Other than the long delivery time, I'd recommend the Pro-Fly jumpsuit. Blue skies!
  4. Slotperfect, What is (was) your exit weight when you decided to drop down to the Silhouette 210 from the 230? I'm 215-220 out the door, and I'm looking at going to the Silhouette 210 from a 220. I hear that the Silhouette and Pulse canopies are really conservative, even at a 1.15 wing load. Thx!
  5. I just bought one. I can't wait for it to be delivered so I can kiss the sky with it.
