  1. In a word, indoor skydiving is flying! If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing the freedom that skydivers have had for decades, then indoor skydiving is absolutely for you! Technology has finally advanced enough to where you no longer have to march towards the big door of an airplane and step out into the atmosphere to earn your flying stripes. No planes and no parachutes, here! Indoor skydiving involves a vertical chamber (imagine a massive silo with windows) that has the most powerful fans you’ve ever seen, blowing lots of air into the tunnel from below. All you have to do is fall into it and take flight! If you’re interested in the SkyVenture technology behind this engineering marvel, read more about how our wind tunnel works. If you’re ready to give indoor skydiving a try, there’s no better place to experience the thrill of flight than Paraclete XP. With one of the largest wind tunnels in the world, we’ve been providing world class indoor skydiving in Fayetteville, NC since 2008. Check out the video below to see what we’re all about!
  2. Thank you!! Read the student section of the SIM 3 or 4 times. Read known good books on skydiving. Pay more attention to your instructors than the Internet. Pull at proper altitude. Flare on time.
  3. Found a tunnel in Virginia Beach. Plotting a trip next month!!!
  4. I need to find a tunnel near North Carolina. I believe Virginia Beach has one.
  5. Thanks for the advice!! Planning a day of nothing but jumping soon!
  6. New to this sport, almost done with tandem jumps, and moving directly into AFF. I'M HOOKED!!! Any advice, tips, anything is welcome! Patrick Barnes Wilmington, NC Jumping from SkyDive Coastal Carolina
  7. Skydiving in February! Errrrr YEAH! We went for my wife's birthday gift. It was incredible! First time for both of us. My wife Melissa, Jumped with Laura Miller, and I jumped with Bob Stephen. Beautiful location over looking the Atlantic Ocean, Intercoastal waterway, near Baldhead island. The jump was easy, and landing even easier! No clouds in the sky's, temp 60, 5-10 mph winds. Highly recommend this location! I'm hooked, and have my other jumps planned soon! Patrick Barnes Wilmington NC
