  1. I can't stand vertical videos. You lose more than 60% of the screen that way. Is it so hard to turn the camera sideways and record in widescreen/landscape mode? Vertical Video Syndrome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt9zSfinwFA Say no to vertical videos. . .
  2. The same thing can be said of Christianity, but let's face it - it all comes down to the fact that there are good and bad people regardless of your world view, that's all. Good Christians, bad Christians, Good Atheists(Nordic), bad Atheists (Soviets, Albanians) Good Muslims(sunnis), bad Muslims(Shiite) JK. Even within your beloved realm of Buddhism. Is it good to burn yourself alive in the public square, or selfishly retreat to the Holy mountains of Tibet when your people need you most? When people experience something good in their lives, it's only human that they want to share it and pass that experience along. Even Atheists want everyone to conform to their mindset, their logic. They want everyone to be confined to limits of science. There are a lot of legitimate issues with climate change, but they get lost in all the lies and exaggerations, and people get turned off, much like with Christianity. But that's why alarmists are so much worse in a sense. At least Christianity positions itself as faith, while the lies and exaggerations of alarmists are positioned as logic and objective fact. I'm excited for him! It's exciting, what a journey! Many may not agree with me, but the meaning of life is about self sacrifice. Sacrificing yourself, your dreams, your desires, your life for another. Christianity is a means by which you can find joy in the midst of that sacrifice. I haven't found anything that's come close to it. Amen.
  3. If you said "Christians," "in the Bible" rather than "Muslims," "in the Koran," you would've been met with at least a half-dozen posters here calling bullshit and asking you to provide specific examples. And I would've watched on as they rightfully tore apart every example that you gave. Faith isn't about science, nor logic. Anyone using it as such deserves what they get.
  4. Right, because the hurricane itself has fuck all to do with the Climate Change. We can discuss how CC may intensify the effects of said hurricane, but let's not exaggerate and blow it out of propotion. Climate models predict an increase in severity of hurricanes, not frequency. But as we all know, models tend to exaggerate. Just look at weather.com radar. Next time there's a storm in your area, look at the radar data from the last few hours that has actually been observed, then compare it to the "future" radar. The future almost always shows at least 30% more rain depicted by ferocious blobs of green/yellow/red - it's all bullshit. It's all bullshit just like the predictions of Imra for the U.S It was supposed to hit as a category 5 with 180MPH winds and 15ft storm surges in Naples! It was supposed to devastate Florida in it's entirety and blow the devil out of Georgia as a category 3 or 4 hurricane! Seriously, a category 4 hurricane in Georgia? You gotta be fucking kidding me. I was watching CNN when that dude was walking his 3-legged dog in Naples as the eye passed over. They told him to get out of there, a surge is coming! He said that's he's been through plenty of hurricanes and knows what to expect, but the CNN meteorologist insisted that the surge was coming, "no Doubt," he said Sure enough, the meteorologist was live on camera a few minutes later backpedaling - now the surge might not hit that part of Naples, he said. They actually waited hours for the surge to come, but apparently AGW sat this one out. Anyway, the surge never hit that area of Naples and didn't come even remotely close to the 15ft as predicted, nor did it hit Georgia as a category 4, or 3, or 2, not even a 1, as predicted. All bullshit. Seriously, these people need to read "The Boy who Cried Wolf."
  5. Either you have a gross misunderstanding of thermodynamics as it pertains to evaporation, or you're just trying to bullshit everyone. . . For every degree C of global warming, the atmosphere can hold up to 7% more moisture. And while warmer water evaporates more quickly, the rate of evaporation depends more on the current air temp, wind speed and humidity, rather than SST - not that anyone actually gives a fuck about the details.
  6. Calling on the Pope to validate climate change, is like. . .um, well, calling on the Pope to validate climate change. That's when you know you're in trouble. . .or desperate.
  7. That's just funny, lol. I can sooo see Ann and her boyfriend laughing their asses off in bed whilst smoking a joint after he pulls the paper bag off her head. It's probably where she comes up with most of this shit. . .
  8. Capitalism at it's finest. What a fuckin' racket. . .
