  1. I have a vector 3 with the same problem. the container has at least 2000 jumps on it . with the wear and being stainless steel the only fix is to replace hardware. you can use rubber bands to secure the slack and prevent slipping but this will wear the legstaps. i will never get stainless on another container if i can help it!

    Gloves

winter hunting gloves neoprene. any walmart around $10-15. great feel and grip.
  3. i used to get alot of sinus pain after doing alot of jumps it took my a couple of years to figure out the problem. when i tracked away i would put my head down (head was lower than rest of body)to watch where everyone was tracking and to check my alti. this was the problem the added blood pressure and the pressure changes on the sinuses lead to severe sinus and or headache pain. i told a my teammate about this and he had similar problems and found out he was doing the same thing. we both nolonger have this problem. fast aircraft and for some reason going above 10500 would also aggrivate the problem. as for a sore throat it maybe due to allergies and wearing a fullface helmet definetly helps. Hope this helps.
  4. A safety word is used in S&M. if you are slapping someone around, and you say stop! your hurting me. this is the whole point so they keep on playing. if you say the safety word (whatever word chosen beforehand) the dominat one will stop punishment!
  5. had 2, one was from a packer making a 10min call during training camp, the bridle knoted the pc . i reached around and pulled the pin and dbag out. had some line twists but it was suprisingly easy. small container aswell. #2 i had tightened the closing loop too much and did a hop and pop. i elbowed the side of the container very hard and the pin popped.
  6. i had a freind that was on a team with me, and after the first half hour he refused to go back in the tunnel. he was a big guy and had a hard time getting off the wire. it was also his first time with booties and he was all over the place. he kept fixating on the cement below and just couldnt relax. the first time can be intimidating. aswell as extremely addictive!
  7. Try a medatation tape. works for me. helps find the tension and quiet the mind . also if you cant sleep, get out of bed and watch tv or something. lying in bed staring at the clock can just add stress and take longer to fall asleep.
  8. Skykat is the cheapest online i think. just ordered one.
  9. I never took no klondie bar from no old lady! um er how much could i sell used dentures for on ebay?
  10. Plants are living things aswell. Millions more vegetables are murdered every year than animals. They are sprayed by all those chemicals.not to mention the poor fruits. i hope that whipped cream tastes good with their reproductive oragans! all life is sacred, what a load of vegetarian crap i says!
  11. brain fart/helmet fire / brain freeze= i forget what these mean. dumped/pulled/got scared=deployed pc vidiot= videogragher more busts than a Miss America pagent=judges and their dam rules!
  12. hop n pops are best, less or no traffic. swoop the same spot as much as possible. be methodical chosing and recording your set up points. from your initiation point A to 1000ft B to 1500ft C. before u jump map out these points on the ground in your mind and be there under canopy. be in brakes from C to B. full flight from B to A, . once you know where u have to be at all these points at varying winds they can be transfered to any spot, direction or DZ. plan the swoop and swoop the plan! My $0.02, hope it helps.
  13. If you wish to get good at any disipline, make it your focus on every jump. get as much video as you can. watch over and over. slow motion is awesome. go to a tunnel skills camp. use your video as a tool to see how your coaches move and you can never do enough drill dives. solo 2way,3way, etc... watch the world champs, visualize you are one of them. if your mind believes the body will eventaully follow.
  14. If i had the cash i would spend 2 hours every year in the tunnel just working on my skills. then more time with the team. the learning in the tunnel never stops! it gives you total concentration on flying your body. no thought to openning or landing etc.
