This is just what I needed to read. I'm coming off a 41 year hiatus. I had 97 logged jumps when I left. I did 7 min in the wind tunnel on my own, never been in one before, did a tandem to see how the canopy works and flies, never jumped a square. Tomorrow weather providing, I'll be doing my 1st AFF. I don't feel very anxious. But I have also been in combat since I last jumped. Knowledge is power and this was a very knowledgeable article. Thank you.
