No doubt - i've had cheap wal mart rain gear break after a low amount of usage more times than not. Wouldn't want to be half way to speed four or five seconds into a dive and have my 10 dollar pants break on me. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Take an average of how quickly it craps out on you during average use case scenarios? That's what I do with video gear because when shooting in the cold in the backcountry here in colorado i get drastically different run times off of my batteries compared to warmer weather shooting.
