  1. Yes, it is. They're assuming ownership of a word that was never just theirs in the first place, and basing the denial of an entire set of rights to another group of people just because they don't want 'their' word to be used. It's the definition of pettiness. Nobody is assuming ownership of any word. They are fighting to keep from happening what they believe will somehow lessen the respect others have for the meaning of what a marriage is. It is not for you or I to tell them how they feel any more than it is up to them to tell gays who they have affection towards. To you it is petty. To them it is not. They outnumber you by a fair margin. Their "feelings" are of no significance compared to other's "rights". Majority opinion, which cannot even be assumed accurate in a vote with such misleading and bombarding advertising, still does not determine right from wrong. Nor does the bible. Not allowing gays to marry other gays, regardless of gender, is discrimination. Discrimination is wrong. You still never answered my question from my previous post: Discrimination is a manifestation of fear and insecurity. What is it about giving all humans equal rights that abhors you so much? http://www.exitshot.com
  2. Where's the box for "Let anyone marry anyone, but bigots aren't allowed to produce offspring"? http://www.exitshot.com
  3. Your argument is painfully redundant and vacuous. If you cannot grasp that withholding the rights of gays to marry whom they choose as discrimination, grasp this; denying gays the right to marry is gender discrimination. If the law allows a man to marry a woman, then a woman should be allowed to marry a woman. That would be equal rights. Otherwise, it's discriminating against the woman. And vice versa, women can marry men, therefore men should be allowed to marry men. What if the law only allowed same sex marriage. You, according to your spin, would have equal rights in that you were allowed to marry someone of the same sex just like anyone else is allowed to marry someone of the same sex. Would you then go gay because the law is written that way, or would you speak up against discrimination against your preference? Discrimination is a manifestation of fear and insecurity. What is it about giving all humans equal rights that abhors you so much? http://www.exitshot.com
  4. Just curious... If you posted your photos for sale on a website, which has disabled the right-click option and states "These photos are copyrighted by their respective owners. All rights reserved. Unauthorized use prohibited." when right-clicked, then you found your photo poached (likely a screengrab) and posted on someone else's website without permission or even photo credit, what would you do? Moderator responses welcome. http://www.exitshot.com
  5. Thank god for atheists. http://www.exitshot.com
  6. Not so in Perris anymore... http://www.exitshot.com
  7. 3) if you have a premature directly under them... imagine that. Need I elaborate? I'll sitfly/backfly low enough to see drogue but not directly underneath. As I see any hand move towards a drogue release, I will sideslide to the pull side for opening. I can match the trap door fallrate easily changing my sit/backfly position, but still, not directly below them. And as I video the opening, I'm backtracking and I turn my head sideways to get vertical opening photos. Just part of my routine. And, please, please, please don't ever ever film a tandem opening from above (like that second youtube video just posted). I miss Sean. http://www.exitshot.com
  8. Yes... and Joe always wears wings. All the pros do. *except if you're shooting freeflying obviously http://www.exitshot.com
  9. When I had 600 jumps, that's how I did it too. Ditto. You can do tandem videos without them. How high do you set your standards? Your video can be better if you learn to use wings. If you just lay still in front of them, on level, and that's your standard, then no, you don't need wings. If you want to get better angles for better photos, especially getting very low and looking up at their face, get wings. Here's a few of my shots: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=31358&id=545871412&l=0271f5541b http://www.exitshot.com
  10. A cameraflyer without wings is like a 4way competitor without booties. http://www.exitshot.com
  11. Yeah for equal rights!!! I hope the CA Prop 8 Supporters will someday realize that their bigotry is antiquated. http://www.exitshot.com
  12. CLearly I need more practice aiming the cameras at the student's face... I'll work on that. http://www.exitshot.com
  13. Man up and mount both of them side by side. You can probably fit a video camera in between too while your at it. Good luck! http://www.exitshot.com
  14. Here's my setup complete with HD video, DSLR stills and a backup camera. It's still a little heavy and I'm learning to fly it better, but the picture quality is amazing. Karen http://www.exitshot.com

  18. I've always been a Photoshop user. But in looking at Macs, I'm considering other options. Just in looking at the promo for Aperture 2, it looks more like Photoshop Elements than the comprehensive Photoshop program. (I don't like Elements - too dummied-down) Is Photoshop still the best? Is there any comprable program just for Macs? Thanks, Karen http://www.exitshot.com
  19. Just backfly http://www.exitshot.com
  20. Were you in Perris? I didn't see you. Can't wait to hear the reviews! http://www.exitshot.com
  21. Bill! Really? Search? ask a local ? I've used one a lot for handcam on tandems and a couple helmet mounted for wingsuit etc. I've also used it moutnain biking and some other fun stuff. It's great for web, play, but that's about it. Check out my facebook videos. Also, I suggested we use them at the school rather than a larger/heavier camera for handycam... be cool, karen http://www.exitshot.com
  22. I should send them my old ones, I've gone through at least 20 over the last 7 years. And I'm not exagerating. I'm just usually in a hurry, 20 min call, and just buy another one on the way to the plane. hmmm... http://www.exitshot.com
  23. Don't forget the unicorns! We wouldn't want them to feel left out. http://www.exitshot.com
